• Project Objective Deliver a TIER IV Compliant ‘Co-hosting Data Centre’ with a managed,

secure and environmentally controlled 2000m² Data Hall for hosting mission critical servers and other related IT equipment.

• Project Timescales - Design commenced October 2006 - Project commenced on-site May 2007 - Construction Completion May 2008 - Operational December 2008 • Operating Environment - Arid Desert - Remote Location - 46 Degree Ambient Temperature

Injazat Data Centre

• Construction - Two storey construction - Plant rooms at ground floor level

- Data Centre at first floor level - Physical separation of redundant power and cooling systems in

accordance with Tier IV

• Power Requirements - 6.6 MVA Building Load (5.4 MVA of Critical Load) - Utility power from 2 separate/redundant primary supplies (A & B) - Fully redundant power distribution systems - Simultaneous power from both distribution systems - Total system isolation until point of power delivery - Critical power equipment fully supported by DRUPS - Stand alone fuel capability for 72 hours operation

• Why Hitec Diesel Rotary UPS? The Hitec DRUPS provides the highest level of security to critical

services to maintain 99.995% Data Hall uptime regardless of utility service failure or maintenance activities.

Hitec’s tried and tested DRUPS equipment design is the most compact,

efficient and suitable for a Tier IV infrastructure that demands the highest possible level of Data Centre Resilience and Reliability.

• Injazat is the first facility of its type in the Middle East • Injazat is the first UTI certified Tier IV Data Centre

outside the USA
