BASIC CONCEPTUAL DESIGN

The “basic” design layout provides a simple foundation upon which more fanciful features and creative elements could be added

Fundamentally, the walkway must be:

ü Minimally intrusive on tidal flow necessary to support marsh grasses

ü Easy to maintain

ü Visually attractive

ü Safe for use by general public

ü Rugged and able to withstand seasonal hurricane-level wind and tidal forces
