The RiffTrax Live series has been making audiences laugh out loud with its now legendary treatment of films since 2009. No movie is safe –everything from the best of the worst cult classics like Tommy Wiseau’sThe Room to blockbuster studio hit titles like Starship Troopers get grilled by the stars of Mystery Science Theatre 3000 during a live broadcast to cinemas across the country.

Following a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2014 to gain the rights to poke fun at the sci-fi classic Starship Troopers, the veteran riffers of MST3K continued this platform of fan-funded projects to continue bringing fan demanded events to cinemas. Since its inception, Fathom has presented 18 separate RiffTrax Live events, growing from a single annual event to a series of three to four per year.
