Future

• Cashless society– Only a decade ago, 71% of our purchases were made using

cash. Today, it is just 55%. – 30% of donations now via digital

• Channel Convergence– ‘Retailers are focused on connecting their physical, virtual

and mobile distribution and sales channels together – the so-called ‘omnichannel’ model. Charities need to look at how the donating experience can be embedded in that.’

• Donor Centric– ‘The relationship between a charity and its donors has to

be cherished and donors must be placed firmly at the heart of fundraising in the future’
