SCHOOL NEWS

Year 7 Food Technology

Year 7 Food Technology students have been working on an Agri-Food unit of study this term. They

researched, designed and produced a cookie that would appeal to teenagers for their assessment task.

This assessment and research task provided students with the opportunity to identify a need and produce

a cookie that met the need. They experimented with flavours and created a biscuit that appealed to

teenagers.

Students worked consistently and to a high standard to produce cookies that tasted delicious and in many

instances, looked professional . A special thanks to the Judges Mr Schneider, Mr Freeburn, Miss Bennett

and Ms Evenden who sampled the fabulous creations .
