Secondary School Hobbies and Interests Athletics I am constantly adding new things to my bucket list often including physical activities. Jogging, biking, rock climbing, weight training. Travel Traveling is an extremely important component of my life and I strive to explore the new possibilities each location has to offer. The summer of 2015 I was a solo traveler to 9 countries in 21 days across Europe. Music I have completed Grade 7 Piano Conservatory, and Level 1 Theory. In my leisure time, I try to learn to play different musical instruments. Sketching, Painting, Building, and Writing I enjoy exploring a variety of creative outlets and experimenting with all mediums. I am currently working on a fictitious novel for my own leisure.

DYNAMIC PUSHFACETranslucent experimental building facade using interior oc-cupants to stretch and manipulate exterior shading fabric
The objective of the project was to create an innovative building facade system that could be both dynamic and insulative. The dynamic pushface facade system changes the interior quality of light through the manipulation of rods that alter the stretched fabric on the exterior.

LATENT Climorphysiological Architecture
A type of living architecture that is derived from and evolves to a sites specific climatic conditions. The building must cohesively adapt to seasonal weather fluctuations. Winter snow accumulates on the Pine Facade structures for an additional layer of insulation. The Latent project optimizes seasonal climatic conditions for improved building performance while experimenting with a new genre of architecture.

ECHO WALLHow can occupants engage with the built form?
Echo Wall was designed to mirror the sounds of occupants passing through a space. Foot steps, talking, and other ambient noises would trigger the illumination of the wall in a path reflecting the sounds traveling throught the volume.

VORONOI SHADE M.Arch
The priority for the project was to create a tealight cover that could project a pattern while lit. In the process of designing the shade the cost, 3D printing tollerances and material translucency were taken into account to produce the final object.

SCUBA BRUSHChallenge: How does one properly clean wine decanters?
Enjoy your wine. Let us worry about the rest. NICO design improves your life through creating products that you need and love. Never again will you experience the frustration of wine stains on your glassware. The Scuba Brushs compact design and extendable bristles provide access to those hard to reach crevices while adapting to the form of your glassware. Three standard sizes ensure all neck sizes are accommodated.

FLORA 1.0Actuated pavilion using shape memory alloys
Designed to engage courtyard pedestrians to interact with the ephemeral construction at the Pan Am & Parapan American Games in Toronto, Ontario. Acetate flowers use charged nitinol (nickel titanium) wire and elastic bands bloom when sensing occupants. Imagine a world where buildings could sense and respond to its inhabitants.
38
-
Objective: Find an innovative building material and test its properties
Pavilion structure with mounted acetate flowers uses snapfit construction to reduce fasteners & associated assembly time. Nitinol wire was the selected material for testing which shifted in shape when heat or current was applied.

CLOUD COMB LAMPChallenge: Design & assemble a lampshade with less then 5 words in the instructions
The cloud comb lamp shade was designed to allow for variation in lighting effects that could be customized by the consumer. Digitally fabricated, the lamp shade templates were created with a laser cutter for the potential of mass production. The instructions and components were designed to fit into a 8.5 x 11 envelope for efficient distribution.

SORRENTO CENTRERetreat for spiritual and activity groups
The Sorrento Centre rents space to a variety of faith and activity groups for retreats and conferences. The sites existing buildings vary dramatically in architectural style. The building strove to create a circulation pathway connecting the existing buildings to the landcape. Physically ascending and descending through the spaces was designed to allow occupants to transcend into a spiritual realm.

Anti-Smoking Architecture
CREACHER [ ]
Creacher aims to interfere with smokers habits to promoting better lifestyle choices and air quality for all. The installation would continually breath in the outdoor area. The act of smoking disrupts the tactile and spectacle features of the installation. Smokers are sprayed with collected rainwater while the choice of depositing a cigarette for a healthy substitute would be architecturally celebrated.

D.U.N.E. [ ]Pollution Prevention and Filtration Installation
Warm weather from April until early September marks the migration of tourists to Grand Bend. This social aggregation causes careless behaviors towards garbage disposal on Lake Hurons shores. The project aimed to redirect responsibility onto the tourists with a series of artificial dunes to bring light to the issue. D.U.N.E. intends to make occupants aware of their decisions towards pollution and the associated consequences or rewards of their actions.
Bottom Far Left: Perforations collect twigs and debris into base of artifical dune.
Bottom Left: Perforations & spacing allow for wildlife to reach natural dune during ini-tial growth stages. The artifi-cal dunes allow water and sand to filter trash.
Bottom Right:Perforated acrylic was used for the dune protection encasing. Perforated metal was used for the artifical dunes.
Bottom Far Right: Showing dunes and dune encasings in use.

REGROWTHRedeveloping the corner of Dundas and George Street
George Street is curently known for the large population of homeless citizens and substance abuse due to the neighboring Seaton House. The projects intention was to take elements of the Garden Districts horticultural past as a basis for architectural conception. The commercial residential development adressed the street corner from all sides allowing the building to act like a gateway for the community to reconnect with George Street.

MEDICAL CENTRESMedical Centres in London, Ontario, Canada
During my time at Murphy & Murphy Architect I worked on several projects including 215 Fanshawe Road and 276 Fanshawe Road Medical Centres. The firm of 7 worked collectively on the projects. The models were produced by myself and two other collegues.
