Pre-Bidding
This sale will be conducted in STERLING (£). Auctioneers reserve the right to refuse to issue a Bidding Number. This Brochure is only a guide please inspect the equipment.
All new Buyers must provide the following in order to obtain a Bidder Number.• Photographic Identification (Passport/Driving Licence) & Company VAT Number.• Deposit - a minimum deposit of £10,000/€15,000/ $10,000 AUD/ $15,000
USD via E-payment, Cash, Debit/Credit Card or Bank Transfer. This will guarantee a credit limit of 50,000 in the respective currency. All deposits must be received in full before you can be approved for bidding either Onsite or Online. If you wish to spend more than 50,000 a further 10% of the total projected spend is required. We require a deposit 24 hours before the sale. Please allow 3 working days for us to receive your deposit Via Bank Transfer. Please note deposits of cash or bank cheques held in the office on auction day will be returned to those customers who have been unsuccessful in their bids on auction day. Deposits paid via bank transfer, debit or credit card will
be returned approximately 7 days after the auction.
All company representatives bidding on behalf of a company must provide a letter of authorisation from their company director.
If bidders are unable to attend any of our auctions, you can use the Euro Auctions Pre-Bidding service. To place a Pre-Bid you must be registered and assigned a Bidder Number.
Bank Transfer, Cash, Cheque and Personal Debit Cards (Chip and Pin only - no charge) are acceptable. Credit Card and UK Business Debit Cards are no longer accepted as from 13th January 2018. Cash will not be accepted as a means of payment unless valid identification documents are provided. A Service Charge may be applied to all Purchasers in respect to the administering of payments.
Buyers Commission/TaxBuyer’s commission of 10% will be charged on the first £2,000 or less of the hammer price, with 2.5% buyer’s commission on the remaining balance. VAT will be charged on the buyer’s commission at 20%. VAT of 20% will be charged on the hammer price. This will be refunded to non-UK buyers upon receipt of export documents showing removal from the UK. For removal to other EU countries a valid VAT number must also be provided.
