Unlike print media, your website is easy tochange or update. You can advertise in full

colour, as often and as large as you’d like.In addition, the cost to change content ona website is measured by the time it takes, while printed material is measured bytime and space or materials.

A website doesn’t replace the need forprinted material. It supports and buildsupon your print message. Maybe your

display ad tells your clients you have thebest customer service in the Kootenays...your website can detail the lengths thatyou will go to for your client. Tease them inprint, give them more online. A welldesigned site with targeted content, solid SEO and regularly updated can sup-plement your print materials daily, weeklyor monthly.

With a website you can give your clientsmany reasons to purchase your product orservice. A professional, customized websitewill help strengthen your brand, and makeyou stand out from the competition.A website will drive more customersto your physical location.

GET THE RESULTS YOU WANT! Use Pennywise ads!

We’re hosting an open house and discussion to update you on the results of a recent risk

assessment regarding public access across the Hugh L. Keenleyside Dam. We’d like to hear

your feedback, as the input we receive from the community will assist us in finding a

    long-term solution.

Where:  Castlegar & District Community Complex, 2101 6th Avenue.

    When:  Thursday, February 11, 2016

    Time:  Open house: 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

      Presentation: 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

      Discussion: 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

A recent risk assessment for the Hugh L. Keenleyside Dam determined that allowing traffic to use

the dam deck as a roadway is a high risk activity with serious potential consequences. This is due to

the dam deck’s unusual configuration, poor or obstructed sight lines, driver inattention and failure

to obey posted speed limits. The risk assessment looked at potential options for keeping the dam

deck open for public use, and found that there are no reasonable safety measures that can be put

into place to ensure worker and public safety, and recommends that the dam deck be permanently

    closed to public access.

For more information, please contact Mary Anne Coules at 250 365 4565.
