The InView: • Academic aptitude and cognitive abilities • Subtests on verbal reasoning, sequences, analogies

and quantitative reasoning • Anticipated achievement scores compared to

obtained achievement scores by combining CAT and InView

Analysis of Grade 6 CAT/InView ResultsFall 2012

• Scores the same as 2011 in reading, math, and total score and decreased by one point in language

• “Obtained” scores higher than the “anticipated” achievement scores

• Positive statistically significant difference between “obtained” and “anticipated” math achievement scores

• Forty-seven percent of students scored in the 115 and above CSI category

• Grade 6 2012 CAT and InView scores consistent with recent results
