Chris-Craft is famous to those in the marine industry for designing such state-of-the-art boats as the luxurious closed deck Corsair line, the sporty Lancer and the classic 40-foot Roamer motor yacht. While keeping all of this in mind, Chris-Craft is now creating waves in the industry with the development of a new line of boats that targets a new segment of the market, and that is fishing. The first boat to make its grand entrance into Chris-Craft’s Catalina center console family is the new Catalina 23.

23 The Catalina 23 represents Chris-Craft’s first effort at becoming amajor player in the center console market with a “high style” fish boat designed not only for serious fisherman but also as a water sports boat for the family. It bears all of the beautiful and traditional design features of Chris-Craft’s other models. This unique boat fea-tures two of Chris-Craft’s most recognizable features, the deep-V hull and flared bow. Other Chris-Craft signatures are found throughout, including teak accents and stainless steel thru-hull fittings.

Don’t let this boat’s physical appeal fool you; the Catalina 23 can easily go toe-to-toe with other center consoles designed for hard core fishermen. The Catalina’s overall length of 23’6” includes an abundance of practical features including custom fiberglass rod boxes on both port and starboard, two 116-quart macerated fish boxes, a 20-gallon live well, custom Chris-Craft rod holders and an optional T-Top. In addition, the two-person forward console seat flips up to reveal a spacious head compartment. All of these characteristics combine to make the Catalina 23 the sharpest looking center console on the water.
