ARCHITECTURAL DIFFUSERS

Model: TFM

The architectural round face panel diffuser shall be Raymon-Donco model TFM -NO EQUAL. The diffusers shall have a 23” diameter face opening with an 18”diameter deflector plaque mounted 3/8” below the face. The diffuser housingshall be 22 gauge steel with a heavy gauge aluminum center panel supportedby a rigid frame assembly. The center panel shall be easily removable bymeans of a concealed threaded support and shall be free of any visible fasten-ers. Center panel shall include a safety cable to assist in support during main-tenance or damper adjustment.

The diffuser shall have a minimum 2 1/2” high beaded inlet collar. The diffuserpanel shall be a nominal 24 x 24 and mount flush in either a standard tee or anarrow tee bolt slot type ceiling grid. The diffuser edge shall also be providedwith hanger holes for additional support as required. The finish shall be an extradurable powder coating in standard off white. The paint shall have a hardness of2H+ and shall pass a 1000 hour test in both salt spray ASTM-B117 and humidityASTM-D2247. The paint shall pass the reverse impact test ASTM-D2794 with160 in/lbs impact force.

The diffuser shall be tested in accordance with ASHRAE 70-1991.

A round inlet collar shall be a minimum of 2 ½” tall with a bead detail forsecurely connecting rigid or flexible duct. The diffuser shall have a 24-gauge steelface panel that captures a 20-gauge steel secondary panel that forms 4 mountingpoints. The exposed surface of the face panel shall be smooth, flat, and free ofvisible fasteners. The face panel shall project 5/16" below the outside border of thediffuser back-pan and be completely removable. A safety cable shall be provided.

Finish shall be a Hybrid powder coat finish (standard color white). Coating must pass2H+ pencil hardness, pass 1000 hours ASTM-B117 Salt Spray test, and withstand160lbs both direct and reverse impact test. The manufacturer shall provide publishedperformance data. The diffuser shall be tested in accordance with ANSI/ASHRAEStandard 70-1991.

LINEAR DIFFUSERS

Model: HPL

Furnish and install Raymon model HPL supply diffusers of the sizes configurations, and mounting typesindicated on the plans and outlet schedule. Diffusers shall have one to eight discharge slots in widthsof 1/2”, 3/4”, or 1” with aerodynamically curved “ice tong” shaped pattern controllers for 180 degree airpattern control and airflow dampering if required. Return models shall be constructed the same butwithout pattern controls. Diffusers shall be available in standard one-piece lengths up to 8 feet.Diffuser lengths greater than 8 feet shall be furnished in multiple sections and joined together end to endwith alignment tabs to form a continuous slot appearance. Maximum pattern controller length shall befour feet. Diffusers longer than four feet will be furnished with pattern controllers in multiple sections.

Furnish and install Raymon model DBG 100 linear bar grille of the sizes, configurations and mountingtypes indicated on the plans and outlet schedule. Bar grille shall not exceed 1/2” total thickness to allowinstallation in hard walls or ceilings without disturbing framing members. DBG 100 bars shall be fixedin position, 1/8” thick at zero degrees deflection, spaced 7/16” on center. Extruded aluminum side andmitered end borders, integral with the core, available when specified. Linear bar grille shall be availablein standard one piece lengths up to 8 feet. Diffuser lengths greater than 8 feet shall be furnished inmultiple sections, to be joined with factory supplied alignment strips to form a continuous appearance.

Finish shall be a Hybrid powder coat finish (standard color is white). Coating must pass 2H+ pencilhardness, pass 1000 hours ASTM-B117 Salt Spray test, and withstand 160 pounds both direct andreverse impact test.

Slot diffusers shall be Raymon-Donco Series DCD for supply and DCDR for return.

Diffusers shall have 1-4 discharge slots (3/4, 1, 1 1/2”) wide. Standard nominal lengths shall be2, 3, 4, or 5 feet. Units shall be constructed of 24 gauge steel. The inlet collar must have at least1 1/2” depth for duct connection and shall be round. The standard finish will be black, t-bars willbe white.

Each supply slot of the diffuser shall have a pattern controller, with a tight sealing gasket edge atthe top of the blade which seats against the plenum wall or slot divider and provides full flow. Thepattern controller must be field adjustable from the face of the diffuser to change the discharge fromside to side or from horizontal to vertical. Pattern controls in lengths of 48 to 60 inches shall havea center divider with two independently adjustable pattern controls in each slot.

Optional 1/2” thick, 2 pound density internal insulation shall be available. Insulation shall meetUL 181 and NFPA 90 requirements. Factory furnished plaster frames and inlet dampers shallalso be available as optional accessories.

The manufacturer shall provide published performance data for the slot diffuser. The diffuser shall betested in accordance with ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 70-1991.

Model: DCDT

Slot diffusers shall be Raymon-Donco Series DCDT for supply and DCDR for return.

Diffusers shall have 1-4 discharge slots (3/4, 1. 1 12”) wide. Standard nominal lengths shallbe 2, 3, 4, or 5 feet. Units shall be constructed of 24 gauge steel. The inlet collar must have atleast 1 1/2” depth for duct connection. The standard finish will be black, t-bars will be white. Oneand two slot units shall be 8 inches in height. Three and four slot units shall be 11 inches in height.

Each supply slot of the diffusers shall have a pattern controller, with a tight sealing gasket edge atthe top of the blade which seats against the plenum wall or slot divider and provides full flow. Thepattern controller must be field adjustable from the face of the diffuser to change the dischargefrom side to side or from vertical to horizontal. Pattern controls in lengths of 48 to 60 inches shallhave a center divider with two independently adjustable pattern controls in each slot.

The Iso-Zone® 100 is a laminar flow productwith internal baffles used to produce the laminarpattern of air. The Iso-Zone® 150 is the filterready version of the laminar line. Both serieshave the following in common:

* Standard construction is a 24 gauge steel plenumand a 20 gauge steel perforated face. Also avail-able in aluminum or stainless steel construction.

* Plenum has baked polyester finish with a powdercoat finish on the perforated face.

* Round inlet sizes are 6 to 12”.Standard inlet installation is on thetop of the plenum. For oval, sideinlets, contact factory.

* Perforated face is removable with-out the use of tools for cleaning. Allunits are equipped with safety cableswhich attach the face to the plenumto help prevent accidental droppingof the face during removal.

* Available in standard sizes of 24x24and 24x48. For other sizes, contactfactory.

* The Iso-Zone® 150 is con-structed to accept replaceablehigh efficiency air filters (HEPA) thatfeature a reverse gel seal constructionin a 2” thick filter pack.

Critical Environment Diffusers

Model: Iso-Zone 100

Furnish and install Raymon Iso-Zone® 100 Critical Environment diffusers of the sizes, configurationsand mounting types indicated on the plant and outlet schedule. Diffuser shall be constructed with a maximum6 inch tall back pan, removable internal baffle for evenly distributing air over the face of the diffuser, and aperforated face panel with 3/32” diameter holes on 3/16” staggered centers to create a free area of 23%.Both internal baffle and face panel shall be removable with room side accessible latches that do not require tools to release. Safety cables shall be attached to the face panel.

Construction materials shall consist of 24 gauge mild steel with corrosion resistant standard white finish,.032: minimum thickness aluminum or 24 gauge 304 stainless steel as specified. When specified, coatingsshall provide a finish that will withstand cleaning with high concentraiton solutions and agents.

Model: Iso-Zone 150

Furnish and install Raymon Iso-Zone® 150 Filter Ready Critical Environment diffusers of the sizes,configurations and mounting types indicated on the plans and outlet schedule. Diffuser shall be constructed with amaximum 6” tall back pan and a perforated face panel with 3/32” diameter holes on a 3/16” staggered centers tocreate a free area of 23%. Face panel shall be removable with room side accesible latches that do not requiretools to release. Safety cables shall be attached to the face panel. Back pan shall include an extruded aluminumframe with integral knife-edge flange designed to engage a silicone gel seal in an approved filter frame. The filtershall be held in place by a minimum of four cam-type retainers that can be turned, providing for removal andreplacement of the filter housing without disturbing the housing in the ceiling or the duct connection.

Construction materials shall consist of 24 gauge mild steel with corrosion resistant standard white finich, .032”minimum thickness aluminum, or 24 gauge 304 stainless steel, as specified. When specified, coatings shall providea finish that will withstand cleaning with high concentraiton solutions and agents.

The Raymon ISO-ZONE® Radial Flow diffusers are designed toprovide a hemispherical pattern ofhigh volume, low velocity air.

The ISO-ZONE® 200 is a radial flowproduct that is available in either aone-way or two way throw patternThe ISOZONE® 250 is the filterready version of this series. Both the200 and the 250 have these featuresin common:

* Standard construction is a 24 gauge steel plenum and a 20 gauge steel perforated section and fixed vanes on one or both sides of the face. Also available in aluminum and stainless steel.

* Plenum has a baked polyester finish with a powder coat finish on the face.

* Round inlet sizes are 6 to 12”. Standard inlet installation is on the top of the plenum. For oval side inlets, contact factory.

The Luminaire diffuser providesmodular flexibility, attaches quickly and easily to the light fixture and results inair distribution and lighting through one ceiling penetration

Light Troffer Single Side Diffusers

SUPPLYFurnish and install Raymon S-1 Single Side Luminaire Diffusers in the sizes indicated on the plans and outletschedule. Diffuser shall be constructed of galvannealed steel and have side oval inlets. The diffuser shall havehold down tabs on each end of the diffuser to align and lock the diffuser to the fixture. The diffusershall have a side bracket that will attach the diffuser to the fixture for added support.

Air deflectors are standard when required. The diffuser shall also have an integral volume damper installedin the unit, accessible through the face of the diffuser. Exposed surfaces of the air slot of the unit shall be paintedflat black.

Diffuser manufacturer shall ensure compatibility of the diffuser and the fixture.

RETURNFurnish and install Raymon S-1 Single Side Return Luminare Diffusers in the sizes indicated on the plans andoutlet schedule. Diffuser shall be constructed of galvannealed steel and have a rectangular opening on the sideof the unit. The diffuser shall have hold down tabs on each end of the diffuser to align and lock the diffuserto the fixture. The diffuser shall also have a side bracket that will attach the diffuser to the fixture for addedsupport. The diffuser shall have an integral volume damper installed in the unit that is accessible through theface of the diffuser. Exposed surfaces of the air slot of the unit shall be painted flat black.

The diffusershall have hold down tabs on both ends of the diffuser to align and lock the diffuser onto the fixture.

The S-2 diffuser shall be supplied with an air deflector when required in each leg of the diffuser in the air slotto direct the air into the room. The diffuser shall have an integral volume damper in each leg of the diffuser thatcan be accessed through the air slots. Exposed surfaces of the air slots of the units shall be painted flat black.
