Aspects:

Weldability:

The surface of the cold rolled sheet must be clean, with white, unpolished

aspect, being admitted some local marks of oxides:

• pores and scratches

• unimportant tracks as a result of the falling of the oxides and tracks of rolling

• slight yellow dyeing from the pickling

On the cut edges of the strips, there are not admitted exfoliations and ruptures

visible to the naked eye.

The cold-rolled strips can be welded. Weldability is warranted by the chemical

composition.

Domains of use:

Aspects:

They are used in the machine construction, support structures for

machines and equipments, metallic constructions, in the case of

some mechanical moderate demands.

The surface of the strips must be clean and smooth, without any

covers, cuttings, air holes, scratches, non-metallic and scale

inclusions, lacks of material, superpositons and stratifications.

There are admitted the following defects of surface:

• small local scratches and air holes, local exfoliations, inequalities

resulted from rolling, in the limits of the deviations accepted in the

case of the thickness

• a thin layer of oxides

• unevenness resulted from rolling or that remain after the falling of

the scale, in the limits of the negative deviations to thickness

But, there is not admitted the correction by welding of the surface

defects. There are not admitted, on the cut edges, any exfoliations

and ruptures visible to the naked eye. The strips must have their

edges cut in right angles.

Delivery terms:The strips are delivered in annealed states, planed (cold hardened), covered

with a fine coating of oil of protection easily washable. The strips, after a

corresponding preparation, can be painted, galvanized, etc.

Domains of use:• for metallic and mechanic constructions, car industry,

agricultural machines, household commodities

• for products that are going to be worked off by cold

deformation and especially for cupping

Weldability:

Delivery terms:

The attitude at welding and after welding depends not only on the

material, but on the constructive conception too, on the

conditions of execution and on the exploitation of the

construction elements. The attitude at welding can be verified by

the homologation of the welding process, respectively of the

welding technique.

The sheet are delivered in rolled state or in normalized state

obtained by the control of the temperature during and after

rolling. The sheet with cut edge with the thickness to 40 mm are

going to have their edges cut only by mechanical means, and

those with the thickness over 40 mm are going to have their

edges cut only by flame.

Note:

Domains of use:

The steel sections are not treated after the cold-rolling. On the external and internal surface, there can appear

tracks of emulsion, respectively smaller tracks of oxidation. On the external surfaces of the sections there is applied

an oil covering, that assures a provisional protection against corrosion. At request one can renounce to this

protection covering.

The minimal and maximal figures of length are:

Standard

Tolerance on length

On a separate order, there can be realized special dimensions.

Tolerance to length is much lower than, those previewed in standards.

The mass of a section is of maximum 100 kg..

The cold-rolled sections have a large area of use, as a result of the large offer from the point of view of the forms,

dimensions and the materials'quality.

• optimal ratio between the mass on unit of measure and the parameters of the section

• it can be easily mounted

• agreeable form and aspect, with smooth surfaces

• level of high precision of the dimensions (low tolerance)

containers, tools and equipments for agriculture, ships, cranes and cabins, in the locksmithery shop and for the

transport techniques.

Advantages

they are distinguished by a very good weldability, they can be easily cut, welded and applied a covering layer, they

can be easily assembled, so their costs of processing are low, large palette of dimensions, low tolerance,

smooth surface that allows to the constructor the realisation of a clear and functional design.

Corresponding weldability for optimal processing

The raw material of high quality meets the clients'demands of quality in the field of the steel's purity, malleability and viscosity.

These sections distinguish especially by their very good weldability at the edges, too, with the following characteristics:

•high resistance to rupture and to low temperatures

•raw material of totally deoxidized steels

•equivalent carbon maximum 0,43%

•the realisation of the edges according to EN 10219

•the lack of the fissures at the edges, as a result of the raw material with an excellent malleability even in the case of the

categories with a high resistance

Mechanical caracteristics

Domains of use:

Pipes of carbon steel, longitudinally welded, un-galvanized

(black) or galvanized, threaded or unthreaded (smooth) are

destined to the realization of the network of transport of the

warm and cold drinking water, of the plant heating and of the

transport of thermal agent with maximal pressure of 50 bar,

respectively the realization of the technological installations.

The superior quality of the utilized material makes possible the

appreciation of the life duration of minimum 15 years of the

products with the respect of the appropriate anticorrosion

protection rules.

Lengths of delivery:

• lengths of manufacturing: 4,6,8 m

• exact lengths within the manufacturing lengths

• multiples of the exact lengths

Pipes with multiple lengths of the exact lengths, included within

the manufacturing lengths are delivered with an addition of 5

mm for every cross-cut, if not provided otherwise in the orders.

Deviations:

The limit deviation for the lengths is of: +0-100 mm.

The limit deviations for the thickness of the wall are of: +/-

12,5%, and in isolated places respectively for lengths which do

not surpass twice the external diameter a deviation of -15%.

Limit deviations of the mass for every pipe: +/-10%

Aspects:

The external and interior surface of the pipes must be smooth,

without fissures, cracks, superpositions of the material, non-

metallic inclusions. There are admitted small scratches,

eminences, hollows, a thin mill cinder or traces of cleaning of the

faults resulting from the manufacturing process, so that the

thickness of the wall should not fall under the admitted minimum

limit. The welding joint must be compact and continuous,

without fissures or other faults, which would reduce the

resistance of the welding joint under that of the basic metal.

The external prominence of the welding joint is moved off. The

thickening of the welding joint is admitted within the limits of limit

deviations for the external diameter. The interior burr of the

welding joint is not moved away. Unevenness of the margins of

the strips in the welding joint is not admitted. The ends of the

pipes must be smoothed perpendicularly to the axis of the pipe.

At the endings of the pipes, there is admitted a burr, resulting

from the technological procedure of cutting. There are not

admitted the strains of the endings of the pipe.

The galvanized pipes must have on the external and interior

surface an adherent and continuous zinc coating. The covering

with zinc on both surfaces or only on the interior surface is

carried out by immersion in melt zinc bath. Local roughness and

thickenings of the zinc coating are admitted, more pronounced

on a portion of 80 mm from the ending of the pipe, where the

blowing of the pipe is executed.

The thickness of the zinc coating on the external surface must be

smaller than of the interior surface.

The thickness of the zinc coating on the interior surface must be

of approximately 56µm. The linear mass of the galvanized pipes

is calculated by addition, to the mass of the pipes of the quantity

of the zinc corresponding with the minimum thickness of the

layered zinc coating.

Longitudinally welded steel pipes

Protection:

With the agreement of the parties the pipes may be delivered

protected against corrosion through oiling or other adequate

procedures.

the dimensions marked with the * sign are delivered only on

the basis of a firm order

Aspects:

The external and internal surface of the pipes must be

smooth, in accordance with the manufacturing procedure.

inside and outside surfaces must not have any fissures,

superpositions of the material, blowing, metallic inclusions or

other faults visible to the naked eye. Small eminences,

breaches and traces resulting from the cleaning of the faults

of the surface are admitted with the condition, that their depth

should not surpass the negative deviation at the thickness of

the wall. With pipes with an internal diameter under 15 mm

smooth interior surfaces are not warranted.

Protection:

• unprotected

• covered in exterior with black or uncoloured lacquer

• oiled in exterior or in the exterior interior part

• at request, the endings will be provided with plastic

protection

Delivery terms:

The pipes are delivered with cold hardening or heat

treatment. Those with heat treatment (normalized) are

delivered with oxides formed in the technological process of

manufacturing. At request they can be delivered also in other

terms of the surface aspect (normalized in neutral

atmosphere N.A.N. pickled, etc.)

Domains of use:

In construction of implements with technical conditions of

fixed quality as well as in the case of implements of general

use.

Lengths of delivery:

hot-rolled pipes

• lengths of manufacturing: 4-12,5 m

• exact lengths within the manufacturing lengths

• multiples of the exact lengths

• tolerance: +/-25 mm.

Domains of use:

Used for metallic constructions, equipments and pipe-lines of general use.

Lengths of delivery:

•lengths of manufacturing:4,6,8 m

•exact lengths within the manufacturing lengths

•multiples of the exact lengths

Pipes with multiple lengths of the exact lengths included within the lengths of manufacturing, are delivered with an addition of

500 for everycross-cut if it is not provided otherwise in the orders.

The limit deviation for length is:+0-100 mm

The limit deviations for the thickness of the wall <3 mm is of:+ 0,30 mm / - 0,25 mm

The limit deviation for the thickness of the wall >3 mm is of:+ 0,33 mm / - 0,25 mm

Aspects:

The external and internal surface of the pipes must be smooth, without fissures, cracks, superpositions of the material, non-

metallic inclusions. There are admitted small scratches, eminences, hollows, a thin mill cinder or traces of cleaning of the faults

resulting from the manufacturing process, so that the thickness of the wall should not fall under the admitted minimum limit.

The welding joint must be compact and continuous, without fissures or other faults, which would reduce the resistance of the

welding joint under that of the basic metal.

The external prominence of the welding joint is moved off. The thickening of the welding joint is admitted within the limits of

limit deviations for the external diameter. The interior burr of the welding joint is not moved away. Unevenness of the margins of

the strips in the welding joint is not admitted. The ends of the pipes must be smoothed orthogonallyto the axis of the pipe. At

the endings of the pipes is admitted a burr resulting from the technological procedure of cutting. There are not admitted the

strains of the endings of the pipe.

Deliveryterms:

The pipes are delivered without heat treatment, as it results from the process of manufacturing. With the agreement of the

parties, the pipes maybe delivered in normalized state.

Protection:

The pipes are usuallydelivered without protection, but theycan also be delivered with a protecting anticorrosion coating.

Delivery lengths:

Exact or multiple lengths: 6-12 m. Deviation limits: +/- 100 mm

Aspect:

On the surface of the bar there is admitted a thin layer of oxides, on condition, that after cleaning, the resulting

dimension must not be under the minimum dimension admitted. Breaks or ribs are not admitted, and neither are

admitted dislevelments on the surface of the section, resulting from calibration, on condition, that the section should

be included in the admitted area.

Delivery terms:

The steel concrete with the nominal diameter of maximum 12 mm is delivered in coils, and over this diameter in

joints of bars.

29

Dimensions and ribs:

The steel concrete with periodic section must have on the surface antipodal longitudinal ribs, with constant

dimensions on the whole length and spiral ribs situated at equal distances, inclined with 55-56 degrees in relation to

the longitudinal ribs. The spiral ribs are disposed on the same direction, on both halves of the section.

Standard sheet of copper Dimensions: 1000x2000 mm

Other dimensions can be delivered on firm order

Domains of use

The sheets of copper are considered the most adequate material for the construction works, as they harmonizewith the environment. Even more, in comparison with the main use, (roofs), the sheets of copper are also usedto cover the external surfaces, as well as the walls or the fireplaces. In the industrial area, copper has a specialpart in the engineering works or those of electrolysis.

The influence of the components on the behaviour of the material:

Copper:

Titanium:

rises the mechanical resistance and accelerates

the formation process of the patina on the surface of the

material.

rises the fluidity of the metal, improves the factor

of the thermal dilatation with the purpose of reducing the

weight of the metal load.

For the dimensioning of the channels, there must firstly

specified the diameter of the casing, and the dimension of the

channel must be carried over to this amount, according to

MSZ-04-134:1991.

In the next table, it is taken into consideration a storm load of

approximately 300 l/sxha. On the basis of the knowledge of

the standard size, there are calculated according to EN 612

the tubes with circular section and the dimension of the

channels according to DIN 1986-2.

Important rules for setting into operation (assembling):

The suspended channels with semicircular section will be assembled on the section comprised between the high starting point and that of

arrival situated lower, with the adjustment of a slope of 3-5 mm /m. During the assembly, it must be followed, that the external edge of the

frontal side or the edge of the interior side should be situated with minimum 10 mm lower than the height of the rabbet of the back wall!

(without rabbet this value is in the case of the back wall of minimum 15 mm).

Through a proper technical solution the overtake of the tensions resulting from the movements of longitudinal thermal dilatation can be

solved. This solution may be one with a closing plate in the high points, a dilatation element with an intermediary coating of rubber assembled

on the plane of fluidity respectively a suspended element of pouring, with mobile joint through superposition of the conduct in that point. In

case of technical problems occurred in connection with the assembly, please contact our consultants of specialty.
