Editorial

The Market Week N.Y. is an exhibition that most Portuguese companies know very well since it represents a “must” in the way of doing business in the US market.

That is why t+here are many companies from Portugal that are present in N.Y. for several years now, be it in March and /or September.

During this coming edition of the Market Week, that will be held from the 23rd to 26th of September, a group of six companies with the support of the Associação Home from Portugal, will be present for the first time, at the HHT Global Show, on 7West/34th Street.

Alongside the six companies, many others are exhibiting at the London Hotel.

For two years now, the Associação Home from Portugal with the support of Aicep and the UE, is helping the Portuguese industry to enter and consolidate its position, in the international markets.

America is by far, the most important market for the Portuguese com-panies, just after the European Union. We are sure that we can continue to spread our presence in the market, since we are prepared to supply the most demanded requests, in what concerns quality, servicing, deve-lopment and versatility.

We are confident, that we will be present in the forthcoming editions of the Market Week with a significant number of companies.

Our purpose is to make Portugal known to the World, as a country of excellence, in the Home Textiles Industry.
