• GENERAL DESCRIPTIONRoller tables incorporate a number of motors, the speed of which can be steplessly controlled by one or more frequency converters. The roller table motors supplied by OME are squirrel cage motors which are specially designed for use with frequency converters. Robust in construction, the motors are fully sealed to withstand the tough conditions in rolling mills. The motors are low speed units intended for direct connection to rollers. The pole number and frequency can be selected, avoiding the need for gearboxes and therefore saving on maintenance costs and increasing the overall efficiency of the drive.
Today, transport and working roller tables with reversing operation in steel mills are almost exclusively equipped with directly driven rollers. The mechanical and electrical requirements placed on the drive’s design differ but are still high. To meet these requirements, we developed our new OMRT roller table motors for converter operation in steel plat.
The rugged, non-ventilated OMRT roller table motors with the ring rib enclosure manufactured out of spheroidal iron are especially suitable for harsh operating conditions in steel plants. Our OMRT steel plant motors with longitudinal rib enclosure are suitable for less polluted areas – as well as for online (DOL) operation. Both of these motors are fully enclosed three-phase induction motors.

GENERALWith the rapid development of power electronic technology, alternating speed control system, consisted of transducer and alternating frequency speed control special used three-phase asynchronous motor, is becoming extensively promoted and used.
Technical renovation and equipment renewal in metallurgic industry adopt lots of frequency speed control devices. In order to meet the requirement of metallurgic industry, especially the application of speed control technique, the company developed OMRTseries roll table used frequency speed control three-phase asynchronous motor. The development of this series is embodied with abundant experience of manufacturing many kinds of three-phase asynchronous motors for decades, and the electromagnetic design, structural design and insulated system design of the motor considers the feature of variable frequency power supply and the adaptive capacity of broad range frequency speed-control.
The motor features in good overload capacity, excellent mechanical strength, large regulating range and stable operation. In variable frequency control condition, the motor is suitable in S1 continuous working system, as well as short time or intermittent periodic operations, frequent start, braking and reverse operation.

MAIN PERFORMANCE1. Rated voltage 380V, rated frequency 50HZ. It can also be set to other rated voltages and frequencies according to user's requirements.2. The standard working system is S1, and can also adapt to other operation environment from S2 to S9.3. The insulation level is H.4. The degree of protection is IP54, and can be made into IP55, IP56 by different needs. The cooling system is IC410 (complete shut, surface cooling).5. It has large regulating range (3-100HZ), in which 3-50HZ for speed regulation by constant torque, and 50 - 100HZ for speed regulation by constant power.6. The overload capacity is excellent. It can reach 3.5-4.0 times of the rated torque (2 times for common motors).7. It has large torque in low frequency, and the start torque in 3HZ can reach 1.3-1.8 times of the rated torque.8. It also has good low speed capability. Still with flat torque and no bumpy performance. 9. Juction box. It has the standard location: in the left to see from the drive end for H100 - 255 stator frame, and in the top of non-drive end for H250-355 stator frame.
STRUCTURE AND MOUNTING POSITIONS1. OMRT series motor has three type structures: B3: Foot mounting without flange (H100 - 355) B5: Flange mounting without foot (H100 - 225) B35: Foot and flange mounting (H100 - 355) 2. It can integrated with mounting sensor, magnetic brake and ect.
