Installer les produits Tapisom de manière professionnelle est essentiel pour obtenir les meilleures performances d’usage et de durabilité du produit.

Préparation des supports- Le sol doit être plan, sain, sec, solide, propre et normalement absorbant.- Le produit de lissage doit être adapté pour répondre au type de trafic et d’équipement utilisé dans les

zones. Il doit obligatoirement être assorti d’un classement P au moins égal à celui du local à équiper et mis en œuvre selon le CPT (Cahier du CSTB 1835).

- Un primaire d’accrochage est nécessaire en cas d’utilisation d’un produit de lissage P3 non adjuvanté.- En cas de dérivé du bois : jamais d’enduit de lissage,- Sur support CTBX et CTBH neuf après ponçage, appliquer un primaire adapté avant collage.

Précautions- La température doit être supérieure à 12 °C.- Pour une même surface, utiliser des pièces qui se suivent et portant le même numéro de bain.- Pour certains revêtements à dessins, tenir compte d’un complément de métrages afin de respecter

l’alignement des motifs (au joint, 90 ° et diagonalement).

ATTENTION1 – Revêtements avec dessins : en général, inverser les lés.

Certains dessins nécessitant un raccordement précis pourront être préconisés en pose non inversée.2 – Revêtements unis : lé dans le même sens.

NB : Comme le précise le D.T.U. n°53-1, les revêtements de sols à décors répétitifs peuvent présenter des petits décalages ou lignages aux raccords entre les lés adjacents plus ou moins perceptibles selon le dessin choisi.

Mise en œuvre- Disposer les lés en commençant par le centre du local. S’il y a lieu, aligner les dominantes diagonales

ou transversales ; répartir d’éventuels écarts.- Laisser le revêtement se détendre.- Superposer les lisières de 3 cm ou raccorder les dessins si nécessaires.- Utiliser un adhésif solution alcool ou émulsion acrylique agréée par un professionnel, à l’aide d’une

spatule crantée.

Pour réaliser la pose, deux méthodes peuvent être utilisées :

A – Tous les joints sont réalisés avant l’encollage- Couper simultanément les deux lisières superposées à l’aide d’un couteau muni d’une lame croche.- Réalisation de l’encollage selon la méthode portefeuille (repli du lé sens longueur) : relever les lés,

encoller, rabattre, maroufler, araser la première partie.- Pour la seconde moitié, procéder de la même manière.

B – Les joints sont réalisés après encollage partiel- Encoller la première moitié du premier lé selon la méthode bateau (repli du lé senslargueur) : relever, encoller, rabattre, maroufler, araser.- Couper en une fois les lisières superposées de 3 cm.- Relever les 2 demi lés : encoller, rabattre, maroufler et araser en serrant bien le joint.- Procéder de la même manière pour les autres lés.

Installation

Installing your Tapisom Professionally is essential to the product’s efficiency in terms of wear and durability.

Preparation of subfloors- The subfloor must be flat, dry, sound, clean and absorbent.- The levelling compound chosen must have a suitable compressive strength to suit the type of traffic

and equipment being used within the area.- It may be necessary to apply a primer, depending on the type of levelling compound chosen.- Never apply a levelling compound to a timber substrate unless to be overlaid with Plywood etc.

Conditions for use: precautions- The temperatures must be above 12 °C.- When installing sheets of material within the same area, only use rolls with the same batch number and

install in sequential roll order.- For patterned material, ensure that sufficient material is allowed when cutting off lengths of sheets to

ensure the pattern alignment is correct (at seam, 90 ° and diagonally)

Attention1. Tapisom Design: in general reverse the sheet to the previous one installed.

2. Tapisom plain: install the sheet in the same direction as the previous one installed.

Commence installing the sheets from the centre of the room

1. Overlap the sheets by 3 cm or by the required pattern match, if appropriate.

N.B. Only material cut into strips which include the manufactured sheet edges are suitable for utilising for fill-in sections. This factory edge must be reversed and abutted to the previous sheet installed. Do not install strips that do not have a manufactured edge, as there is a potential risk of shading.

2. Using a knife with a hooked blade, simultaneously cut the top sheet into the bottom sheet using a straightedge as a guide for the knife.

N.B. Only material cut into strips which include the manufactured sheet edges are suitable for utilising for fill-in sections. Do not use strops cut from the centre of a sheet, as there is a risk of shading.

Adhering1. After applying the adhesive, fold back down the 1st sheet and firmly rub in with a glide or rubbing

board. Fold back down the 2nd sheet whilst ensuring that the joint is close butted and firmly rub in with a glide or a rubbing board. Proceed in the same manner for all following sheets.

2. Trim with a hooked blade.Proceed in the same manner for the 2nd half of all of the sheets.

WAIT FOR 24 HOURS BEFORE REPLACING THE FURNITURE.
