a three-level series of books to practise and pass the Cambridge Young learners english testsCheryl Pelteret and Viv Lambert

Practise and Pass is especially useful for pupils who need to prepare and practise for the Cambridge YLE Tests over a relatively short period or alongside another course book. Each level provides 20 to 30 hours of material.

Practise and Pass is much more than a collection of practice tests. The activities are lively and communicative and follow a clear progression, so the pupils prepare, practise and pass:

In the prepare section the language is introduced

In the practise section the language is practised in a meaningful and fun way

In the pass section the language is tested in a way that will make the Young Learners test familiar to the pupils

The Pupil’s Book is further divided into three sections, with separate sections covering the Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing parts of the test, so that it is possible to work on different parts of the exam if extra work is required.

Photocopiable resource book for all teachers of ielts preparation classesJon Marks

Preparing classes for the IELTS exam can become a gruelling cycle of exam practice and intensive language analysis. Communication games and activities may be available, but with the exam approaching, it can seem inappropriate to spend time on anything not directly relevant to the exam.

The 25 lively games and activities in this book aim to help with this dilemma. They are fun, motivating, and in many cases kinaesthetic (i.e. students use their bodies as well as their minds), yet they all relate directly to the exam.

IELTS Resource Pack provides teachers with valuable resource material to liven up their IELTS preparation classes and help ensure success for their students!

Also included is a:

Bank of legally photocopiable exam practice material

Audio CD of listening material

IeLTS Resource Pack

FCE Interactive is a fully interactive CD-ROM providing a wealth of easy-to-use practice material to help students prepare for – and succeed in – the Cambridge ESOL FCE exam.

There are four sections, each covering one paper from the First Certificate Exam. The speaking paper is not covered.

Hint and tips are available, along with instant constructive feedback on most exercises.

Each section contains the following:

practice exercises that are easier than the tasks found in the exam, but which increase in difficulty and get closer to the actual exam tasks
