About us
Headquartered at No. 29, Taicheng Road, Yongqing Industrial Zone, Baoji City, Shaanxi, China, Baoji Kedipu New Material Co., Ltd was founded in June, 2001 with a registered capital in the amount of 20 million RMB. Now we have a 27,000m2 factory and more than 100 employees. Through the years, we dedicated ourselves in the manufacture of refractory metals (Especially Tungsten, Molybdenum, Tantalum, Niobium, Zirconium and Hafnium) products. Now we have become a technology-intensive enterprise who is able to do production, research and training. The company owns 6 workshops, which are powder molding workshop, forging workshop, rolling workshop, vacuum furnace assembly workshop, machining workshop and wire cutting workshop, and 1 inspection center. We are equipped with the following advanced machines: 5 sets of intermediate
frequency sintering furnace, 1 set of cold iso-static pressing machine (1000*3000mm), 6 sets of hot & cold rolling machines (450-1000mm), 1 set of large-scale rolling machine (1300mm), 1 set of large-scale grinding machine (600*3000mm), 1 set of large-scale water cutting machine (3000*6000mm), 1 set of large-scale laser cutting machine (2000*4000mm), 18 sets of wire cutting machine (1200*1600mm) and another tens of
drilling, milling, cutting and grinding machines. Our main products are rods, sheets, wires, foils, coils, rings, pipes, boats, boxes, odd-shaped and highly processed products made of Tungsten, Molybdenum, Tantalum, Niobium, Zirconium, Nickel and their alloys, large-size target material, high purity Mo target, MoNb alloy target, large-size crucible, vacuum furnace, thermal system for sapphire growth etc. They are widely used in flat panel display industry, war industry, aerospace industry, seafaring, photovoltaic industry, sapphire industry, silicon industry,

rare earth industry and glass manufacturing industry and have been exported to USA, Japan, Korea, Russia, Germany, UK, Italy, India and many other countries. We have a strong research and development team consisting of 4 professors of engineering, 5 senior engineers and 12 engineers. Because of their hard work, we were granted the patent on the manufacturing of Mo-Nb alloy in 2013. And we had applied to patent offices of USA, Japan and Korea for international patent and were permitted by Japanese Patent Office in 2015. In July, 2014, cooperating with Xi’an Jiaotong University, we established the High-end New Material Research Center, which would focus on the research and development of nickel based alloy, light-weight hard alloy, large-size W&Mo sheet, large-size target, Mo-Nb pipe-shaped target etc.

Quality Control
How do we make all the products? With powder metallurgy! So what is powder metallurgy? It is well known that nowadays most industrial metals and alloys, such as steels, aluminum and copper, are produced by melting and casting in
a mold. In contrast, powder metallurgy does away with the melting operation and the products are manufactured by compacting metal powders which are then subjected to a heat treatment (sintering) below the melting temperature of the material. The three most important factors in the field of powder metallurgy are the metal powder itself as well as the compacting and sintering operations. We are able to control and optimize all these factors
in-house. Why do we use powder metallurgy? Powder metallurgy allows us to produce materials with melting points of well over 2,000 °C. The procedure is particularly economical even when only small quantities are produced. In addition, by using tailor-made powder mixes, we can produce a range of extremely homogeneous materials endowed with specific properties. The tungsten powder is mixed with the possible alloy elements and then filled into molds. The mixture is then

compacted in the cold iso-static pressing machine. The resulting pressed part is then sintered in the furnace. During this process, the part acquires its density and its microstructure forms. The very special properties of our materials - such as their excellent thermal stability, their hardness or their flow characteristics - are due to the use of the appropriate forming methods, for example forging, rolling or drawing. Only when all mentioned steps dovetail perfectly, can we achieve our exacting quality demands and manufacture products of outstanding purity and quality.

Baoji Kedipu New Material Co., Ltd is an ISO9001: 2008 certified company. We are also a 1st class Safety & Quality Standardization Enterprise and a High-tech Enterprise. We achieved the patent of Mo-Nb alloy plate in October, 2012, Patent No.: ZL201210009053.0. In August, 2015, we achieved the patent from Japan patent office, Patent No.: 5807119. In December, 2015, We attended the Peak Forum on China Reform and was awarded as an innovative enterprise. In April, 2016, we are focusing on Military Industry.

Tungsten
Tungsten would be at work whenever the heat's on. No other metal can compare
with tungsten when it comes to heat resistance. Tungsten has the highest melting
point of all metals and is therefore also suitable for very high-temperature
applications. It is also characterized by a uniquely low coefficient of thermal
expansion and a very high level of dimensional stability. Tungsten is practically
indestructible. For example, we use this material to manufacture high-temperature
furnace components, lamp components and components for use in the fields of
medical and thin-film technology.

Molybdenum
Molybdenum mainly originated from mineral molybdenite (MoS2) and wulfenite
(MoO4Pb). With high melting point, low vapor pressure, low thermal expansion and
heat capacity, excellent high temperature strength and creep resistance,
Molybdenum is widely used in metallurgical industry, electronic industry (ion
implantation, crystal growth, LED, etc.), lighting industry, high temperature furnace
industry, glass and ceramic manufacturing Industry, medical industry, nuclear

Molybdenum-Niobium alloy target: Patented
Background:
In the past, ITO targets took the most market share in FPD Industry. Among many
others, Mo alloy and Cr alloy developed by Hitachi dominated. Recently, Many
companies has begun to replace ITO, IMO and ZAO by Mo-Nb and Mo-Ta alloy. In
Chinese market, Mo-Nb alloy is irreplaceable and is being recognized by most
consumers.
As the targets imported from Japan and Austria is very expensive, Most Chinese
companies are choosing Mo-Nb alloy target from Baoji Kedipu New Material Co., Ltd.
In 2012, Baoji Kedipu had supplied 11 tons of targets for Chinese Market. In 2013, We
have produced 14 metric tons. In 2016, our predicted output would be around 40 tons.
We can manufacture all kinds of Mo-Nb targets as per customer’s drawings.
