La Pajarita paints is a family company founded in 1928 by Carlos Grollo.In 1954 he founded the brand La Pajarita, the company brand more prestigious and well-known.

After over 88 years in the painting world, La Pajarita history is still revolving around color, paintbrushes and canvases, the expression of art in all its stages, from the colors of a canvas to the finish on a piece of furniture, from Dalí to Tàpies, without forgetting the children.

Mr Carlos Grollo

began to produce his

own paints with the

brand “Algrocar”.

Mr Carlos Grollo

reached the

formulation of one

of the first water

based emulsion

paints in Europe. He

“ La Pajarita”

Spanish paint brand

that revolutionised the

art world”. Great artists

like Miró and Dalí began

to use the first emulsion

paint in a tube in Spain.

Multisurface colourless acrylic water-based varnish. Ultra-matt finish, transparent, similar Chalk Paint finish. Very resistant over time and to the damp. It works indoor and outdoor surfaces. Quick drying. Varnish protects surfaces not being scratched. It’s a water-based varnish that doesn’t yellow, and it can be used as a primer before painting.

Colourless varnish that it is apply in any painted and dry surface. Once the product is applied, keep it drying one or two hours. Later paint over it using other color. The latest layer will crack itself when it will be dry. As a result the first color used will appeared betwen the second one because of the crack layer.

Wax can be easily applied with a brush, sponge, or cloth, and is needed to fix, nourish, and protect the paint.Available in colourless finish, white wax that gives a powdery white finish and dark wax that gives the painted object personality through an aging effect.Yield: 15-20 m2/l

It glues, seals or varnishes a lot of surfaces like wood, ceramics, gypsum, cardboard, etc. Ideal for découpage technique. Perfect for a smooth surface as a porous one. Once it is dry, varnish becomes completely transparent and without halos . Glossy finish. Must be dilute adding some water for serviette technique.

Permanent water-based fabric spray paint, quick drying.Very easy to use on all types of clothing and accessories by applying directly to the material. With a light texture, the material is left with great softness to the touch. It is preferable for use on light coloured fabrics. For use on dark coloured fabrics, first apply a layer of WHITE COCO as this has high coverage. The metallics can be applied on both light and dark fabrics, producing pretty sparkles. These spray paints and the La Pajarita stencils are the perfect kit for personalising your clothes and accessories.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE: Prewash fabric´if it is new, do not use fabric softener . Shake well the bottle before using it. Spray first out of the surface to test and clean the nozzle. Pressing pump halfway will produce a splatter effect. A full pump produces a spray mist. Set in the oven at 150ºC for 8 minutes or with the iron for 5 minutes without steam. Always iron on the opposite side of the drawing. Fabrics can be washed (turn inside out) after 72 hours at 40ºC or dry cleaned. For best results, clean nozzle in warm water before storing. Cleaning: water and soap.

Decorative flakes which are perfect for making collages and simple handicrafts. The single colour flakes come in bright colours for fun decorations. The mixed colour flakes look like stone and the glitter flakes are ideal for a sparkling effect. Apply a coat of La Pajarita Transparent Glue to any surface. While damp, sprinkle the flakes abundantly, and press them down to ensure that a greater amount stick. Once dry, remove the loose flakes and apply a coat of La Pajarita Finishing Varnish with a thick brush.

Transparent water-based paint which can be used on glass, plastic, mirrors, china, and other non-porous surfaces. Apply directly from the tube onto a sheet of plastic. A drawing can be placed underneath for tracing.

First, draw the outline and then wait 2 hours before filling in the spaces using a good quantity of paint. The finished painting can be peeled off the plastic after 24 hours and then stuck onto the chosen surface. Do not shake this product before use as this may cause bubbles to form. Fluorescent Windows paint glows in the dark after being exposed to sunlight.

This product will not peel off paper or cardboard but can be used to achieve attractive relief work on these materials.

Decorative flakes which are perfect for making collages and simple handicrafts. The single colour flakes come in bright colours for fun decorations.
