The d-Copia 2500 is a 25cpm digital copier, which can produce up to A3 sized copies, and only offers a printer and fax as an option,should the business require these features in the future, or wherethe use of an integrated network is limited, so only requires 64MBmemory which can be expanded to 192MB. Other options can beadded to the basic machine, such as a paper feeder, duplex feederand staple finisher.

The d-Copia 2500MF offers print and fax as standard and,features a highly intelligent WiseCore® print controller,which improves the workflow management within the machine,and a standard colour scanner, supporting Scan-to-PC,Scan-to-Email and Scan-to-SMB, which greatly improvesthe efficiency of sharing information in a workgroup orbetween departments in satellite offices or branches.Finishing options are available as with the d-Copia 2500,but the d-Copia 2500MF can also have a data SecurityKit added to it.

The operator panels differ too. The d-Copia 2500MF hasa larger colourful panel with large buttons so that moreintricate jobs can be identified easily. The d-Copia 2500has a simple screen with fewer keys for more basicfunctions making the operation simple and easy but all thekeys on both panels are concave, to allow better visibility,and the panel can be tilted to adjust their angle.

d-Copia 18MFThe Olivetti d-Copia 18MF is a digital Black & White A4 multi-functionalmachine with network capability that is designed to improve the efficiencyof your daily work. It combines a copier, printer, colour scanner and can

be upgraded to include a network fax.

In its simplest configuration it can be connected to a PC using eitherthe USB or parallel port. It can function as part of an integratedEthernet network, sharing its functions and

capabilities amongst connected users.

As is expected with all Olivetti products, thed-Copia 18MF offers superb printing quality.

With the network fax upgrade installed,documents can be sent directly from a PC withfax messages received in PDF or TIFF format.The d-Copia 18MF boasts a 50-sheetAutomatic Document Feed (ADF) unit andoffers excellent autonomy with up to 550-sheet paper reserve.

Finger vein identification

Another unique attribute of these two machinesis their 100% productivity when duplexing andtheir market-leading volumes. The d-Color MF450volume is 100,000 prints and the d-Color MF550’svolume is 125,000 prints; while the life timeof both models is estimated at a remarkable2.5 million prints.

Finishing options on these two models areexceptional. The models can be fitted with a booklet

finisher, z-fold finisher, staple and hole-punchfinishers, as well as the d-Color MF550

has the option to add a post fusercover inserter, the d-Color MF450offers an optional saddle-stitch kitand they can both fold letters.

The two models are delivered withtheir own fast print server but a fierycontroller can be added as an optionto cater for more intricate graphics.

The d-Color MF450 and d-Color MF550 feature some eye-catchingfeatures including the new Info Line; the while line at the edges ofthe machine. Within the white material is housed a series of LEDs whichindicate the status of the machine by lighting up to show when paperneeds replenishing, when the machine is RIPping or if there are anyproblems to sort out. These two machines offer affordable colour, with the d-Color P216ideally suited to individuals or small workgroups as it can either beusedas a stand-alone printer but offers network connectivity as standard.It comes equipped with standard USB 2.0 (Hi-speed) and 128MB Ram,upgradeable to 640MB. Printing at 16ppm in both colour and black and

white, this machine is fast forits size and also provides astandard 500 sheet cassette that can be expandedto 1,100 sheets with the aid of an optional additional600 sheet cassette.

The d-Color P220, prints at 20ppm and ideal foras a shared workgroup printer. It has USB 2.0 andnetwork connectivity, as standard, and its standard128MB RAM can be expanded to 640MB.Its maximum paper capacity is a convenient2,100 sheets, giving users extra flexibility.

PGL 230The PGL 230 is an efficient 300ppm black and white, desktop, A4 printerwhich comes equipped with duplex printing and convenient paper handling

ECR 6900 & ECR 6920F The ECR 6900 and ECR 6920F arethe first of Olivetti’s new range ofcash registers to offer medium sizedretailers the chance to set up theirregisters via a PC and use bar-codingfacilities, which is usually restrictedto more sophisticated machines.

The ECR 6900 supports up to 10 departmentgroups, 99 individual departments, 2000 PLUs,15 cashiers and 4 payment methods. It can alsosupport tax-free sales. Its electronic journal cansupply information about 13,000 transaction lines.The ECR 6920F is ideal for restaurants, cafes andpubs because it supports tracking of lines for up to70 tables.

Both machines are equipped with a USBinterface so that they can be configuredvia PC. The optional bar code scanner isconnected via Serial connection. Olivetti hasdeveloped a specific software package whichenables a company logo to be downloaded onthe ECR and can also read and store all thefinancial reports from the machine.
