TCG 2016References – ETAR Matosinhos
ETAR Matosinhos is a water treatment plant located in Porto. Caterpillar
Energy Solutions, S.A. delivered a turn-key project with two TCG 2016 C V12
engines running with biogas with heat recovery system of the HT circuit
through a heat exchanger and also with an exhaust gas recovery system. The
plant was commissioned on May 2018 and delivers 1.2 MW to the grid.

Tintojal is a leading textile company in Portugal that needed electricity and
heat for its processes. Caterpillar Energy Solutions, S.A. delivered one
TCG 2032 V16 engine running with natural gas providing a heat recovery
system of the water-jacket circuit and the exhaust gas system. Tintojal
uses the exhaust gases to generate saturated steam for its processes.

TCG 3016References – Satiskin
Satiskin represents one of Caterpillar Energy Solutions, S.A. milestones since it
will become the first TCG 3016 V12 genset in Portugal. The commissioning of
this engine will be executed shortly. Satiskin is also a textile company in
Portugal that needed electricity and heat for its processes on the basis of auto-
consumption. With the TCG 3016 V12 engine running with natural gas, Satiskin
will generate steam for its processes thanks to the exhaust gas system.
