LITURGY OF THE HOURS

MIDDAY PRAYER /ANGELUS

Because we cannot distribute the prayer pamphlet for Mid-

day Prayer, we will suspend the prayer until further notice.

However, we will pray the Angelus at Noon.

BISHOP DeGOESBRIAND PRAYER

Please pray the canonization prayer for Bishop Louis

DeGoesbriand asking for his intercession for our Church in

Vermont.

O God, You have willed that your Church be the

sacrament of salvation for all nations, so that Christ’s

saving work may continue to the end of the ages. In time,

you established our Church in Vermont through the tireless

efforts of her first Bishop, Louis DeGoesbriand.

We pray that, if it be your will, raise him to sainthood,

setting before us his life of virtue and missionary courage.

Inspired by his example, may we feel the urgent call to

work for the salvation of all.

We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen

MONDAY EVENING EUCHARISTIC ADORATION

AND CONFESSION

The Litany of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception,

Eucharistic Adoration and confessions will be held at

7 PM every Monday. All are welcome!

PRAYERS AT IMMACULATE CONCEPTION

IN HONOR OF OUR LADY OF THE

IMMACULATE CONCEPTION

Fr. Harlow is saying a private Mass weekly at the

Immaculate Conception Church in honor of Our Lady of

the Immaculate Conception.

DAILY ROSARY APOSTOLATE

The Diocese continues to offer a daily Rosary

online. Individuals from around the diocese have been

joining Valerie Parzyck in leading the Rosary each

day. Are you interested? Below find a note from Valerie

containing the details about how to schedule this with her:

“I would love it if you would schedule a time with me to

record a Rosary. What does that look like exactly? It’s very

simple! You email me with convenient times for you and

once it is scheduled I will send you a link to Zoom for the

appointed time. You may choose to show your face or, if

you’d prefer, I can show slides for each mystery while we

pray.”

If this is something you would like to participate

in, please contact me. You can email me with a time that

works for you and we can schedule it. Please email me

at [email protected]

LITURGY OF THE WORD

July 11th & 12th, 2020

The 15th Sunday of Ordinary Time

Isaiah 55:10-11 God’s word accomplishes its intended

purpose.

Psalm 65 “The seed that falls on good ground will yield

a fruitful harvest.”

Romans 8: 18-23 All creation eagerly awaits the glory

of God.

Matthew 13: 1-23 A sower went out to sow.

Isaiah’s poetry and Jesus’ parable tell in complementary

ways the power of God’s word. Isaiah extols its

fruitfulness, the Lord promising that it will flower just as

the fertile earth does when watered by rain or snow. Jesus

tells of the sower, whose indiscriminate scattering of the

word of the kingdom leads to different outcomes depending

on where it lands.

May we listen attentively today, soaking up God’s word so

that it may bear fruit in us.

AN ACT OF SPIRITUAL COMMUNION

(For those who are unable to attend Mass in person.)

My Jesus, I believe that You are spiritually present in the

Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things and

desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this

moment receive you sacramentally, come at least spiritually

into my heart. I embrace You as if your were already there

and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be

separated from You. Amen

MASS ATTENDANCE protocols

Please approach the celebration of Mass with charity

and love for our clergy and faith community by

following the protocols:

Stay home if you are sick or not feeling well.

Wear a mask in Mass.

Sanitize your hands upon entry. Due to shortages

of sanitizer, please bring your own if possible.

Sit in designated pews and respect social

distance between others of 6 feet or more unless you

are one family unit.

Refrain from congregating in tight areas or

entering cordoned off areas.

Follow the protocols to receive Holy

Communion as directed at Mass.

While these protocols are intrusive, they are

necessary as they allow us to celebrate the

Sacraments in person while doing our part to help

stop the spread of coronavirus.

Thank you for your continued cooperation, patience

and understanding.
