Let us pray
Save me by your power, O God;Set me free by your might!Hear my prayer, O God;Listen to my words!
Protect me O God;I trust in you for safety.
The Lord is near to those who are discouraged;He saves those who have lost all hope.
Even if a parent should forget her child,I will never forget you.Jerusalem, I can never forget you!I have written your name on the palms of my hands.
His love is everlasting,His faithfulness endures from age to age.
I call to the Lord,And he saves me from my enemies.Praise the Lord.
This is how much God loved the world; He gave his Son, his one and only son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life.
God didn’t go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again.
I know the plans I have in mind for you,it is the Lord who speaks,plans for peace, not disaster, reserving a future full of hope for you.
May God, the source of hope, fill you with all joy and peace by means of your faith in him, so that your hope will continue to grow by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Come to me, all you who labour and are overburdened, and I will give you rest. Shoulder my yoke and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart,And you will find rest for your souls.
Make me a channel of your peace.Where there is hatred, let me bring your love.Where there is injury, your pardon, Lord.And where there’s doubt, true faith in you.
