we will arrange a trip to the city of Cali in the valley of Cauca, where we know the most popular and fun places, will be a wonderful experience.

Location

This beautiful city is located in southwestern Colombia to three hours by land from the Pacific Ocean , with temperatures ranging between 23 to 28 oC . Being laid off the western range features soft breezes that make the capital of the Valle del Cauca a very welcoming city. ( Geographic Map , City Map [ 107K ] )

HistoryIf the bulk of the conquest had begun entering the Spaniards under Jiménez de Quesada for the Pacific coast , by way of inward Dagua quite possibly would have been another story of Colombia , as Quezada have settled in the Valle del Cauca domains of the Spanish monarch in the New Granada and Cali had been the capital of Colombia .

The truth is that Belalcázar , the July 25, 1536 , " laid the first foundations of the villa called Santiago de Cali " , in memory of the apostle and Quechua name given to the Cauca River by the tribe of the journals , which means plain. Quechuas are also the words Jamundí Yotoco Guachinte and they mean blowgun, and many others that still exist in the Valle del Cauca. The word charity means Cali or Caribs and took Belalcázar Indians led built into their troops.

Did Belalcázar with great vision and natural convenience, find a communication from the newly founded in the Pacific Ocean and to the effect , provided that the Lieutenant-Governor Miguel Muñoz trasmontara the western mountains, who was frustrated efforts , circumstances that led to the transfer of Cali the site currently occupied on a hill overlooking the esplanade. " It looks oriental city, by contrast form the green of the hill on which it stands, the Blue Mountains over looking lying with its white red roofed decks shaded by fruit trees and slender palms ." His majesty , according Ocariz , gave the city the June 17, 1559 coat of arms , original of which is preserved in the National Archives , and seven days later he was awarded the title of "fair " .

Currently boasts the title of Sultana del Valle that combines with his distorted Moorish style dramatically represented on the facade of the Temple of San Francisco.

Located at the foot of the hills of the Western Cordillera , the farm has a beautiful view of the green plain , adorned by large plantations of sugar cane and giant samanes.

The whole building is surrounded by waterways that prevented the passage of insects and snakes and guaranteed freshness in their interiors. It is also provided with fresh balconies and lush vegetation. From the entrance to the estate until his ladder extends a beautiful rose garden in which, according to the novel , Mary picked every morning the freshest flowers for your loved Ephraim.
