Concerning the furnished flats, in the interest of both sides, we recommend you to ask for an explanatory leaflet detailing the accommodation and rental agreement (rate, deposit, arrival time, departure time…)

NotesThe tourist tax : this has to be collected by the landlord in addition to the

rent for the accommodation.

It is calculated per person and per day. Children under 13 years old are not

included. This tax collected is then paid to the town of Cavalaire.

You should know ?Paying a deposit allows you the option to

change your mind and to cancel your booking

within the agreed period of notice.

In that case, you are not obliged to pay the

whole amount due but the owner will keep your

deposit.

The down payment implies a firm

commitment, which means a legal obligation to

pay the whole amount of your booking in case of

cancellation.

Classification of furnished flatsThe Tourist Office supports the initiative of the

Secrétariat d’Etat au Tourisme whose objective is to

classify furnished accommodation.

In its commitment to quality, the Tourist Office

encourages landlords to participate in the process of

classification.

This commitment to quality guarantees a certain

level of comfort.

The stars, from 1 to 5 are attributed by prefectorial

order of the Var and are granted for 5 years.

The Tourist Office is open : From mid-june to mid-september : everyday from 9 am to 7 pm, And from mid-september to mid-june : from Monday to Friday: from 9 am to 12.30 pm and from 2 pm to 6 pm and Saturday : from 9 am to 12.30 pm.The information appearing below was submitted to the CNIL (French National Commission for Freedom of Information).
