• Structure

– Knowledge Areas contain Tasks

– Tasks contain Elements and Activities

– Tasks have Inputs and Outputs

• Rules

– Tasks belong to the specific KA

– Activities (generally) belong to the Task

– Order of Tasks can vary but contents of Tasks cannot e.g. elicitation prep not = technique selection
