Solution Manager / Solution Manager 7.1

CBTA

The purpose of this page is to provide additional documentation and materials related to the Component Based Test Automation capability of SAP Solution Manager. CBTA includes a test recorder and a test

player. The test recorder generates test scripts that are stored centrally in the eCATT repository. CBTA test scripts can be adapted and maintained via the Test Composition Environment (TCE).

The ST-TST softw are component must be installed on your Solution Manager system to enable the CBTA capability.

CBTA Tool (running client-side)

The CBTA capabilities requires to also install a tool running client-side. It must be installed on each tester's machine.

CBTA Tool Versions

CBTA 3.0 SP0 is aligned w ith ST-TST 300 SP0 and Solution Manager ST 7.1 SP7.

CBTA 3.0 SP1 is aligned w ith ST-TST 300 SP1 and Solution Manager ST 7.1 SP8 and SP9.

CBTA 3.0 SP2 is aligned w ith ST-TST 300 SP2 and Solution Manager ST 7.1 SP10.

Configuration and Quick Startup (CBTA 3.0 SP0 and SP1)

This video explains how to setup and use CBTA. Dow nload the video from the SAP Service Marketplace: here. Extract it on your local hard drive and execute the index.html f ile. You need to
