Origami

Theme: Animals Judge:Ms. D.S.P.Nagalakshmi

Origami – Ori- meaning "folding", and kami meaning "paper" is the art of paper folding,

which is often associated with Japanese culture. It was held on 21st July. Students of

class II actively participated and created a unique shape and structure of different

types of animals. The judge appreciated the skill and imaginative creations by the

students.

and sisters began and making the knot of protection was the basic plan.

The auspicious day of Raksha Bandhan was celebrated at DDMS P.Obul Reddy

Public School by organizing a Rakhi making competition for classes I to III.

THEME: “DUSSEHRA “ TIME: Happy hour

On the occasion of Dussehra festival , CCA Greeting card competition

was conducted on 15th September 2017 (Friday) . Students of class 2

decorated their greeting cards with colourful Durga mata and Ravana

with ten heads.

They also learnt that Dussehra symbolises “ Victory of Good over Evil.”

THEME: bhagwaD geeta TIME: Happy hour

From the recitation of the “Bhagwad Geetha” arises the desire to know its

meaning. Thence arises the knowledge. From this knowledge arises fulfillment. The

study of “Bhagwad Geetha” is the key to opening the vast treasure of God’s love

for us.

Keeping this in mind ,students of class 2 welcomed the new term with beautiful

slokas from “Bhagwat Geetha” . The competition was held on 13th October 2017

during happy hour in the auditorium.

verbal skills and confidence.
