DETROIT, June 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Detroit will host the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Men’s Frozen Four hockey tournament for 2010 at Ford Field on April 8 and 10, 2010.

The economic impact to Detroit and Southeast Michigan is estimated at $10 million and the number could increase based on Ford Field’s larger capacity compared to past Frozen Four facilities.

“The Central Collegiate Hockey Association is extremely excited to be part of another major sporting event that is coming to Detroit,” said CCHA’s Tom Anastos
