Municipales” localizada en el centro comercial “Embassy Plaza” en la parte norte del Consulado treinta minutos

CONDUCTED, WE RECOMMEND THE FOLLOWING SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:

1. Do not talk to strangers on the street.

2. On the day of your appointment, do not go to the consulate before 6:00 a.m. The consulate opens at

6:30 a.m.

3. Carry the least amount of money possible in cash.

4. Do not show your documents or applications to anyone who offers to put them in order or fill them

out. The Immigrant Visa Consular Section will do this for you during your interview. If you have any

questions about your visa, ask personnel at the Information Window located at the entrance to the

Consulate. Applications and advice are free.

5. Report any attempted robbery or assault to Consulate personnel.

ATTENTION:

Applicants who have scheduled an appointment for a visa interview shall be thirty minutes before their consular

El horario de atención de la clínica en la Ciudad de México es de visa de 7:30 a.m. a mediodía, de lunes a viernes. El costo por los

exámenes médicos es de $ 2865.20 pesos para los adultos y de $ 2262.00 pesos para los menores de 15 años. El pago puede ser en

efectivo o con cargo a tarjetas de crédito Visa y MasterCard.

Cada solicitante deberá presentar la hoja de cita y pasaporte al momento de su cita médica. No es necesario que presente fotografías.

Si usted tiene problema médico crónico, ha sido tratado de cualquier enfermedad venérea o ha estado bajo cuidado psiquiátrico, el

doctor le recomienda que traiga un resumen médico con usted o arregle que este le sea mandado al doctor antes de su examen

médico.

Solicitantes de dos años (2) a catorce (14) años de edad deberán practicarse el examen médico por lo menos con cuatro (4) días

laborales de anticipación a su cita programada en el Consulado. El no hacerlo, puede resultar en retrasos o reprogramación de su

fecha de cita inicial. También se le recomienda que si va a vacunar a los niños dentro de este rango de edad lo haga por lo menos

cuatro (4) semanas antes de su examen médico.

El costo de los exámenes médicos es:

A. Solicitantes de 15 años o más: $190.00 dólares o su equivalente en moneda nacional. B. Solicitantes menores de 15 años: $135.00 dólares o su equivalente en moneda nacional.

C. Al valor total del examen médico se le deberá agregar el 11% de I.V.A. A partir del 1º de Enero 2014 el I.V.A. será 16%.

NOTA: El costo del examen médico incluye solamente los exámenes médicos necesarios, excepto por el examen del DNA. Será

necesario que el peticionario/solicitante cubran el costo de exámenes adicionales requeridos al momento de su examen.

*Deberá presentar a la recepcionista la hoja de cita al entrar a la clínica. Aparte debe traer con usted todos sus documentos.

*Solicitantes para visa de Fiancé (e) o prometido(a) necesitan presentar la carta que confirme que su caso será atendido en el

Consulado.

REQUISITOS PARA VACUNACION

La Ley de Inmigración de los Estados Unidos de Norte América requiere que los solicitantes de Visas de Inmigrante obtengan ciertas

vacunas antes de la expedición de su Visa. Las clínicas autorizadas para practicar los exámenes médicos a los solicitantes de Visas de

Inmigrante están a cargo de verificar que reúnan el requisito de vacunación:

Los solicitantes deben traer sus registros de vacunación disponibles para su examen médico. Si no cuenta con el registro de

vacunación, el médico determinara cuál de las vacunas son médicamente apropiadas para usted, de acuerdo a su edad, historial

clínico y su actual condición médica.

El costo de la(s) vacuna(s) dependerá del tipo de vacuna o vacunas que a Usted le falten y en términos generales el costo puede

variar. Este cargo es independiente del costo de su Examen Médico regular.

Ningún empleado consular proporcionará información relacionada con las vacunas, esto será tratado directamente con las clínicas

autorizadas a practicar los exámenes médicos.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE MEDICAL EXAMINATION The date of your visa interview appointment is indicated in the letter that you received from the National Visa Center or the

American Consulate General Ciudad Juarez. Please be aware that it is your responsibility to complete the medical examination with

one of the authorized medical clinics before the interview date. We suggest that you make arrangements for your medical

Visa applicants are received between 6:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Monday through Friday, excluding Mexican holidays. Medical

offices are located close to the Consulate.

The medical clinic in Mexico City will receive visa applicants for appointments from 7:30 a.m. to noon, Monday through Friday.

Required fee of $2865.20 Mexican pesos covering only the medical examination ($2262.00 Mexican pesos for minors under age 15).

Cash or credit cards (Visa or MasterCard) are the only forms of payment accepted.

The vaccination fee is separate from the cost of your required medical examination.

Each applicant must present the visa appointment letter and a passport at the time of medical appointment. Photos are not necessary.

If you suffer from a chronic illness, have been treated for any venereal disease, or are under psychiatric care, the doctor recommends

that you bring your medical file or have it forwarded to the doctor prior to your medical examination. It is not necessary to bring a

photo for your medical exam.

Applicants between the ages of two and fourteen must undergo the medical examination at least four business days prior to the

scheduled appointment at the Consulate. Failure to do so may result in processing delays or rescheduling of the appointment. It is

also recommended that children within this age range not receive immunizations within four weeks prior to the medical examination.

The following fees will be charged for the examination:

A. Applicants ages 15 and over: USD$190.00

B. Applicants younger than 15: USD$135.00

C. An 11% tax (I.V.A.) must be added to the cost of the medical exam for all applicants. Starting January 1, 2014, the tax

(I.V.A.) will be 16%.

NOTE: The medical examination fee includes the complete medical examination and any required supplemental examinations.

However, DNA testing requires additional payment.

*Please present your appointment letter to the receptionist at the entrance of the clinic. You must have your complete set of

documents with you.

*Fiancé (e) visa applicants must present the letter confirming the visa interview appointment.

VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS

United States immigration laws require that immigrant visa applicants obtain certain vaccinations prior to the issuance of a visa.

Panel physicians who conduct medical examinations are required to verify that immigrant visa applicants have met the new

vaccination requirements.

In order to assist the panel physician, applicants should bring any available vaccination records to the medial exam. If there is no

vaccination record, the panel physician will work with you to determine which vaccinations you may need to meet the requirement.

Only the panel physician will determine which of the vaccinations are medically appropriate for you, given your age, medical history

and current medical condition.

The cost of your vaccines will depend upon the type of vaccination(s) that you will need. The vaccination fee is separate from the

cost of your required medical examination.

Consulate employees are not authorized to give information in reference to vaccination requirements to the general public. The only

authorized agencies to give this information are the panel physicians.

Uso de tarjeta de crédito o débito para el pago de trámites

y servicios Consulares El Consulado General de Estados Unidos en Ciudad Juárez anuncia formas convenientes y seguras de pago para los usuarios de

servicios consulares, particularmente para aquellos que necesiten realizarse exámenes médicos o tramitar solicitudes de perdón

(waivers). Los nuevos mecanismos de pago ayudarán a disminuir la vulnerabilidad de los solicitantes de servicios consulares, al
