Urban Funk This hotel is located in the Qaryat Al Beri complex in Abu Dhabi, which houses the Shangri-La Hotel, Shangri- La Residences, CHI, The Spa at Shangri-La, The Villas by Shangri-La and a Souk. \ The hotel comprised of 301 guestrooms and suites that were refurbished to give them an urban uplift. The budget assigned to this was approximately AED 50 million. All joinery was designed in straight and clean lines, eliminating any frills and trims, to give it a modern look.
