Happy New Year! Welcome back after our long break. I trust you had an enjoyable time. The students have returned to school and CEEL refreshed and are settling back into our routine. We welcome several new CEEL friends and I am
pleased to share they are making nice friendships. In addition, we have several new workers who have joined us! We look forward to getting to know all faces at CEEL better!
Parents for letting me know when your
student will not be attending CEEL. I think it is
super fun when children have the opportunity to explore new leisure activities outside of CEEL. It is always helpful to know when your child will be absent for CEEL.
CEEL Session III Class registration will open on January 15, 2018 at 10am and close January 19, 2018 at 10am. In December I surveyed your students to determine how they wanted to spend their time. Those that responded were interested in arts and crafts, physical activity, building opportunities and games. I recommend asking your students what like would prefer to do during 3:45-4:45pm.

No School, Spring Break. All
day CEEL at EP CEEL 7:30 am-6:00 pm. March 5-9, 2018. During this registered event, students will participate in special activities and visitors. Please remember to send TWO nut free snacks and a lunch with your child.
Student personal devices (iPads, Kindles, cell phones, and portable gaming devices, etc.) are not permitted at CEEL. Should your students need these items for school, I ask that the items be kept in their
backpacks until pick-up.
We have officially finished four months of school, which means there are only 5 months left and then it will be SUMMER! I know it’s hard to believe. On February 17, 2018 from 10:00am-2:00pm at the Mount Nittany Middle School the 13th annual Summer Youth Fair will be held. This event is organized to help area parents and their school aged youth discover new adventures for summer months.
Have you had a chance to download the new free State College app? The app has tons of new features including an entire district directory, calendar of
district wide events, and when you turn on the notifications you’ll be the first to know whether school is delayed or canceled. The app is free and downloadable in the Apple App Store or Google Play.
