Concentration in bile and gall bladder tissues: billiard level of ceftizoxime attains peak faster followed by faster decrease, where as with ceftazidime , the peak level was found at about 4h and bile level showed tendency towards slower decrease. The composition containing Ceftazidime and Tazobactum can be combined with yet another drug, Linezolid (LIZO-IV), an Oxazolidinone, a new class of antibacterial, with exceptionally good activity against MRSA, VRSA, E.faecalis and Bacteroides, wherein, Ceftazidime exhibits weaker activity.(World Intellactual property Organisation)
