Ceiling and Wall Enclosures for Securing Aruba Networks Wireless Access Points
Your Aruba Networks access point is an investment in mission critical wireless networking. Oberon access point enclosures and mounts provide a means to “lock down” the installation, thereby protecting the integrity of the site survey, design, and system verification. Oberon’s products provide the physical security required in government, education, and retail environments and an aesthetic, professional appearance required in many enterprise installations. In healthcare environments, Oberon’s products simplify compliance with infection control procedures by permitting access to the access point without lifting ceiling tiles and opening the plenum space.
Oberon’s products make planning, maintaining, and growing your secure wireless network easier than ever. Please visit the Oberon website at www.oberonwireless.com to find additional suspended ceiling, hard-lid, wall mount, and NEMA enclosures for Aruba Networks access points.
Oberon is the only approved manufacturer of Wireless LAN access point enclosures and mounting solutions within the Aruba Networks Ecosystem. This program assures users that Oberon’s products have been tested for fit and function with Aruba Networks wireless products. Adaptor Door
BIM, CAD, and CSI Specifications
Model 38‐52‐AP135 Oberon’s Model 1052‐00 wireless LAN access point enclosure is a locking 2’ x 2’ ceiling tile enclosure originally designed for the Cisco 1242, Cisco 1232, and Aruba Networks AP‐70 access points. For customers making the migration to the Aruba Networks AP135 802.11n wireless access point, Oberon has designed the 38‐52‐AP135 adaptor door so that customers may install the new access point in the existing enclosure without removing the enclosure from the ceiling. The upgrade simply requires that the existing 1052‐00 door is removed (three interior nuts), the new access point is attached to the adaptor door, and the adaptor door is attached to the enclosure. The upgrade maintains the enclosure’s UL 50 design criteria, and provides the same level of physical security as previously provided. Upgrades are performed without accessing the air handling space above the ceiling.
