December is a great time to sell some additional copies of your yearbook for parents or siblings to give as Christmas presents to the student in their household. And it’s easy to do.

Find out who hasn’t purchased a yearbook yet, send their parents a note, e-mail or call them and then provide them with one of these very cool gift certificates you can find in the Sell It section of the Digital Classroom on Yearbook Avenue.

Make sure to plan time to celebrate as a yearbook staff. Even if it isn’t a lot, do something. Some staffs we know do secret gift exchanges. Others organize after-school Christmas parties. Can’t have a party, start today and do one FUN thing for five minutes before school gets out for the holidays.

Or, take the celebration to your school. If Santa doesn’t visit, schedule someone to stop by in a red suit. Put up a tree in your yearbook room.

And don’t forget to celebrate all the holidays—Kwanzaa, Hanukkah and New Years.
