Clerk: Praise the Lord, All you people.
Leaders: Praise Him, all ye heavenly host.
Clerk: God has set us apart to be his people and serve in His
Kingdom.
Leaders: We are a royal priesthood and a holy nation.
Clerk: For our gifts of life, relationships and purpose and the
abundant blessings which He continually bestows upon us.
Leaders: We praise you and give you thanks Lord.
Clerk: For the establishment of Pilgrim Baptist Church, for the
guidance and protection of the Holy Spirit to this present
time and for the renewal of faith in service.
Leaders: We praise you and give you thanks Lord.
Clerk: As officers & leaders of this church we ask - in the presence
of this company - that you would continue to lead us and
guide us, O Lord, along the pathways of truth and
righteousness.
Leaders: Lord, increase our desire to serve according to thy Will.
Clerk: Today we desire to be officers & leaders after God’s own
heart.
Leaders: Groom us as officers & leaders with your Holy Word. Teach us

1. N.J. Orators Red Bank Chapter : is now signing up students for the 2012 year. For
further details please contact Denzel Donaldson.
2. Arts for the Hearts: Performing Arts Dance Program will meet weekly on Sat.’s at
PBC, 10am, thru Mar. 24th 2012 . For girls ages 8-10.
3. Tithing Envelopes for 2011 are located in the vestibule.
4. Moderator’s Luncheon: For Seacoast Association will be held on Sat. Feb. 11th,
12:00 noon at The Sheraton Hotel in Eatontown. Pastor Porter will be keynote speaker
this year. For tickets please contact Deacon John Moore.
5. Deacon’s Union, Women’s Auxiliary & Monmouth Bible Institute: is having their
first 5th Sunday Service today in Farmingdale, 355 West Farms Rd @ 4pm. Rev. Dr.
Northington will be the guest pastor, accompanied by his male Choir. Other 5th Sun
day Service dates are: April 29th, July 29th, September 30th & December 30th. All
are welcomed.
6. Preacher/Ministers Class: Pilgrim Baptist Church will be offering a course study in
Preaching designed for: Pastors, Preachers, Ministers & Lay Ministers entitled “Seven
Habits of Effective Preaching”. Class will feature: Special Guest Lectures; Relevant
Discussions & Preaching Labs. Classes will begin Thurs. Feb. 23rd; 6 - 7:30pm. Cost:
$20. For details see Pastor Porter.
7. Lay Minister Program: For anyone interested in being a part of the ministerial
program; and want to accept their calling to the Gospel Ministry, please contact Pastor
Porter.
8. Volunteers Needed: for 1st Annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Commemorative
Celebration Committee for 2013. Please see Pastor Porter for details.
