FEBRUARY’S CORRECT ANSWER A: WIN with EASE

No winners this month!! Make your guess and get Subway gift card!!

to set up an appointment ASAP!

Health Care:

YEAH! Whoop Whoop! This year we do NOT

have to complete the formfire process that we have

had to do for the last several years.

In addition, we have already negotiated the best

possible coverage and pricing for this year’s health

care plan(s). In fact, the same plans will be offered

again this year with a slight change to the

prescription portion. But more importantly, there

will be NO increase to the employee contribution.

So, if you elect the same coverage this year as what

you had last year, your weekly premium amount will

remain the same!

Information concerning the available health care plan

(s) and all the other ancillary products will be

available and disseminated to you before April 1,

2016.

OPEN ENROLLMENT begins April 1, 2016 and

will go through April 30, 2016 with an effective date

of May 1, 2016.

We are currently working with Paycor to make open

enrollment a much easier process than in years past.

It is our intention that to re-enroll or enroll for the

first time in the company health care plan(s), you

will use the Paycor system to make your elections.

Once we have everything ironed out for the

enrollment process, information and/or instructions

will be disseminated to you so that you can elect or

decline coverage with ease using the Paycor system.

Thanks for all your hard work and think happy

thoughts for warmer weather!

2016 Annual Meeting:

Mark your calendar! This year’s annual meeting will

be Saturday, September 17, 2016. This meeting is a

requirement for all employees.

Garner taking water to Flint

Garner Trucking, of Findlay, will transport a load of

nearly 44,000 pounds of water to Flint, Michigan,

this morning.

The load originated in the Indianapolis area and will

be delivered to Flint volunteers, who will unload the

trailer of bottled water. The bottled water will then be

dispersed to those in the community who have a

need.

The day that the above article appeared in Findlay’s

publication, Faith Luginbill received this email.

What a nice message to share!

2-12-2016

Hi Faith,

I saw the article in today's paper that your com-pany is taking a load of water up to Flint to help those folks up there.

You guys amaze me and I give you major kudos for taking this initiative while others talk about such things - Garner does it.

Regards,

Steve Korb Veterans Services Specialist U.S. Marine Corps Veteran Military Veterans Resource Center

Thank you to Gary Smith and trainee,

Tremayne Baker, for their help!

Garner is a sponsor for the Heart Walk taking place in Findlay on April 16th. We’d like to get a team together that would be interested in walking to support heart health. Registration is easy PLUS Garner will match any money raised for the American Heart Association. Visit www.heartwalk.org and go to the Hancock County walk to register or contact Jenny in the front office directly at 419-427-3941 or email [email protected].

The water crisis in Flint is ongoing and on Saturday

February20th Garner transported an additional

44,000 pounds of water. The load was driven by

Mackenzie Trenor from a customer in the Toledo

area to a Flint warehouse for distribution.

SPECIAL NOTICE FROM MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT

OF TRANSPORTATION: IMPORTANT REGULATIONS

FOR PARKING AT MINNESOTA'S REST AREAS

Commercial vehicles cannot stop and park continuously in any of Minnesota's MnDOT rest areas for a period longer than 10 hours.

During inclement weather, the 10 hour restriction may be waived if a commercial vehicle must shut down due to the hazardous weather. Travel must resume when the weather event passes or at the direction of law enforcement. If you need to park at a rest area longer than the 10 hour limit for this or any other safety concern, please contact the rest area custodian and explain the situation to them so they are aware. Please note that vehicles that park longer than 10 hours for reasons other than hazardous weather or safety concerns, may be subject to penalty. Also note that MnDOT rest areas cannot be used as staging areas or to drop trailers over long periods of time. When parking at a rest area, please park vehicles in a manner that safely preserves the most number of truck parking stalls for others.
