Participant Portal – central FAQ database

• Newly established central Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) database will be available for users of the Participant Portal.

• It will consist of questions and answers (Q&A) on the EU Research and Innovation programmes covering all fields from general programme related questions to IT tools.

• Q&A will be prepared by different Commission Services with specific expertise and revised for consistency throughout the database. If needed, a further language review for correction of language mistakes and simplification will be carried out.

Participant Portal – benefits for users

• For Participant Portal users it means a more comprehensive set of questions as well as improved layout and search options.

• The FAQ currently published on various EC R&I websites, such as H2020 website, Research on Europa site, ERC site, etc., will all be published on the Participant Portal.

• Calls specific FAQ will also be stored in the database and published both on the Participant Portal FAQ and call pages.

How FAQ database will look like on the Participant Portal?

• The tool allowing the Commission Services to prepare the consolidated content for the FAQ is ready.

• Introduction of central FAQ database on the Participant Portal is planned for September/October 2015.

• In the future some content of the central FAQ database will be also diffused by partner websites.
