Central Officer Board Roles & Descriptions POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES HOW IS POSITION FILLED? 1 President 1. The President shall be the chief spokesperson and first officer of Ógra Fianna Fáil. 2. The President shall: o Chair meetings of the Central Officer Board. o Coordinate the work of the other Central Officer Board members. o Maintain a close working relationship with key stakeholders of the organisation. 3. The President shall report to the National Council. 4. They shall be a member of the Fianna Fáil National Executive. Elected by one member one vote on a national basis. 2 National Policy & Campaigns Director 1. The National Policy & Campaigns Director shall be responsible for the promotion and coordination of organisation policy and campaigns. 2. She/he will chair the Policy & Campaigns sub-group(s) of the National Council. 3. She/he shall maintain a policy manual on behalf of the organisation. 4. She/he shall report to the National Council. 5. They shall be a member of the Fianna Fáil National Executive. 3 National Membership & Recruitment Director 1. The National Membership & Recruitment Director is responsible for the on-going development of the organisations national recruitment strategy. 2. She/he shall report to the National Council. 3. They shall be a member of the Fianna Fáil National Executive. 4 National Events Coordinator 1. The National Events Coordinator is responsible for the delivery of events on a National basis as agreed by the Central Officer Board and/or mandated by the National Council. 2. She/he will chair the National Youth Conference Steering Committee. This committee shall work with the National Youth Officer to coordinate the National Youth Conference. 3. The National Events Coordinator shall report to the National Council. 4. They shall be a member of the Fianna Fáil National Executive. 5 National Third Level Organiser 1. There shall be a Regional Organiser for each of the Euro Constituencies and one for Third Level institutions. 2. Each Organiser is responsible in their respective constituency for: a. Aiding the establishment of new Ógra units in CDCs/HEIs where there is currently no active unit. b. Assisting in the coordination of policy development and the running of campaigns in their respective constituencies. 3. Each Regional Organiser shall be responsible to the National Council and Central Officer Board. 4. The National Third Level Organiser shall be a member of the Fianna Fáil National Executive. 2 National Policy & Campaigns

Director
