CENTRAL UNIVERSITY OF KARNATAKA (CUK)
Central University of Karnataka (CUK): a mini India in itself with more
than 2000 students from nearly 18 states of India is playing a role of
educational reformer in Kalyan- Karnataka region (former H-K region).
Spread on the vast area of 654 acres in Kadaganchi village of Kalaburagi
district, it lays emphasis on providing education and employment to the
nearby villagers for whom sending children to far off places was a
nightmare, CUK came in as a ray of hope and is striving hard to spread
educational excellence globally.
DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS STUDIES
The Department of Business Studies under the School of Business Studies
has been established with a vision to strive and achieve excellence in the
field of business through multi-disciplinary approach and foster
entrepreneurial and managerial talent among students who with their
core competence can carve their own niche in the highly competitive
world.
The mission of the department is to nurture and shape positive attitude,
competencies and capabilities among the students who can apply
entrepreneurial skills, management concepts, tools and techniques, and
ethical principles in sustaining/ creating socially responsive
organizations, institutions and enterprises that are vital for the growth
and development of the region, nation and the world at large
THE MANAGEMENT FEST- AKYUTHA
AKYUTHA brand has been synonym for the management fest which
Department of Business Studies, CUK, organizes every year. Continuing
the pioneering concept of “Edutainment” for the 5th time, Akyutha 2020
sets a benchmark to explore the knowledge, skills and abilities along with
cultural ecstasies. This management fest will be reaching out to all the
students in and around Karnataka in particular and other parts of the
country in general. Hosting 9 competitions in different area of
management for the first 2 days, the 3rd day celebrations are called
“SHAKTI- The cultural zone of Akyutha” where the participants will be
competing in cultural events.
HIGHLIGHTS OF THE EVENTS
SADHIKA – THE MANAGEMENT EVENTS
1. SAADHIL (BEST MANAGER)
The right move, the right answer, the right moment and its check mate. Prove your
skills, communicate what you think, dream and dare to share. It is time to show your
talents and use the opportunity to be called as “THE BEST MANAGER.”
RULES:-
Individual participation.
The one who is participating in BEST MANAGER are not supposed to participate in any other
event except cultural.
There are 7 rounds & each round is a surprise to the participants (as this is the exclusive event).
No usage of electronic gadgets during the rounds. (until we allow you to access)
Dress Code for the 2nd day: Formals (mandatory).
Judges decision will be final.

the life are meant to be captured. Capture the moment. Let the world see….

Individual participation
Theme: “Best moment of Akyutha 2020”
Each participant can submit a maximum of 2 photos which should be relevant to the
theme
