K and H Lignins limited reactivity (High Molecular Weight)
• Low solubility/reactivity and high viscosity in various reaction media leading to limited applicability
Limited applications in water-based chemical system
• K-Lignin not soluble in water at pH<10
• H-Lignin not soluble in water at any pH, limits applications in water-based systems
Need to increase product consistency for commercial application
Lignin is hard to be characterized for performance prediction
