PURPOSE
help students with the changeover to the
labor market, taking into account their
individual abilities and needs of their career
achieve their log-term support for
acclimatization to the business environment

OBJECTIVES
extend the existing opportunities of work
with students
reduce the risks associated with student
transition to the labor market
increase their employability

TARGET GROUP
During pilot activity: 20 pupils from 10 schools directly engaged
in the project 10 teachers from 10 schools trained as
career mentors
Through dissemination: 20 schools (around 600 teachers) 3500 career mentors Ministry of Education

EDUCATIONAL APPROACH
Mentoring – as a structured counseling
process providing students with personal
guidance by experienced mentor and with
support in context of their career and
employability.

METHODOLOGY
1. Analysis of needs of teachers and local
employers trought meeting of focus group
2. Pilot e-learning program for further
mentors

PROGRAM CONTENT & DELIVERABLES
1. Analysis of needs of teachers and local employers trought meeting of focus group: The analysis will be carried out through meeting of focus group, which will consist of representatives (mainly teachers) of 10 secondary schools of vocacional education and representatives of 10 employers from the Central Bohemian region

2. Preparation of e-learning program and realization of education:E-learning form of study represents an opportunity for teachers to study the issues of career mentoring individually, at no cost and without the absences in school.
3. Evaluation of e-learning program The evaluation will be led by the 10 career mentors after the study program.

INNOVATED APPROACH FOR THE PROJECT
An innovative element of the activity will
be a study program based on e-learning.
The activity will link all three
stakeholders in the labour market, i.e.
the student, the career mentor and the
employer.
