Centric desks are available as both fixed height and height adjustable.The illustrations below show the undercarriages of freestanding desks in fixed height as well as the three height adjustable options.

Each option accommodates varying requirements, offering convenience and frequency of adjustment.

Unique to the system is the ability to vary desk heights independently along a single plane. Facilitating sit possibilities from 610 mm – 900 mm range, or sit and stand possibilities from 700 mm – 1050 mm range.

When desks are abutted back to back, a connecting bridge completes its unique H-leg frame, negating the need for supporting feet. The bridge also acts as a panel support. This results in less clutter beneath the desk and greater usable storage space, along with a clean open aesthetic.

Each desk in the cluster can either be fixed height or height adjustable, as each operates and adjusts independently. Height adjustable desks have options of technician, user or electronic adjustment.

Standard worktops can be specified 25 mm or 33 mm thick with square or soft rounded corners (50 mm radius). Available finishes include selected laminates and timber veneers in a range of colours. Custom edge profiles and finishes are also available upon request, offering vast design possibilities.

Each option creates a segregated path from the services source i.e. ceiling, floor, ducted skirting etc to the desk’s cable trays. Options can be combined to satisfy specific requirements providing easy access and efficient cable management.

SEGREGATED CABLE TRAYS (OPTIONAL) Centric desking offers optional segregated cable trays. Cables can enter trays from power poles, power blades, umbilicals, wall or floor connections. There are several services outlet options as illustrated below right.

INTERPOWER SOFTWIRING SYSTEM Schiavello Interpower softwiring system delivers power and lighting to workstations. The system is easily connected, disconnected or relocated without the need to isolate power and with minimal inconvenience. All connections within Interpower systems are protected by a positive lock mechanism to prevent accidental power disconnection.

There are numerous outlet combinations available for each option. Refer to Schiavello Interpower brochure SCH/W05-C for complete product information and technical specification.

CENTRIC 90º WORKSTATION WITH SYSTEM 45 FLOOR STANDING SCREENSScreens are assembled in a ‘T’ shape cluster with lower transition height panelsas a divider between two height adjustable workstations. Services are delivered via Centric’s cable reticulation trays with service rails affixed to worktops.

CENTRIC 90º FIXED HEIGHT WORKSTATION WITH SYSTEM 45 + SYSTEM 30 SCREENS FORMING AN ‘OFF MODULE’ CLUSTERSystem 45 floor standing screens fitted with top stacking screens forming a spine wall.System 30 suspended panels are attached to the workstation and are also connectedto the spine wall by ‘off module’ connectors. The connectors allow the workstation to be positioned and repositioned at any point along the spine wall as required. Service cables are delivered via a power blade to centric’s cable trays.

Centric is a fully refined office desking and table system manufactured in Australia by Schiavello.The system is modular, beam based with a broad range of applications.These include: • Ergonomic rectilinear office desking and workstations available in both conventional and bridged clusters • Executive desking • Conference and boardroom tables All items are available as either fixed height or height adjustable with adjustment options to suit just sit as well as sit and stand applications. Cable reticulationThe system includes optional clip-on segregated cable reticulation trays and a selection of services outlet modules and soft wiring connections. Also included are integrated components that provide efficient means of routing services cabling to the cable trays from the ceiling, walls or floor, for example, power blades, umbilicals and power poles. The softwiring electrical system is Schiavello Interpower, certified to Australian Standard AS/NZS 3131.
