Century Barn Events Pricing & Policies: 2019 Thank you for your interest in hosting your gathering at The Century Barn! The Century Barn is an event venue located just outside Mt Horeb, Wisconsin! The barn sits atop a rolling hill, overlooking a picturesque landscape of open fields, a fragrant hops garden, with the hazy Blue Mounds on the horizon and gorgeous sunsets. This setting is an impressive and versatile environment for any occasion! Our venue is a D-I-Y rentable space, so you are able to create the celebration you desire! Set-up where you decide, bring your favorite food & drinks for your guests, add your unique ideas, the possibilities are endless! We always have open vending, so any caterer can be used! Below is a bit of information regarding our pricing & policies for 2019. If you have questions on this information, please let us know! If it looks like our venue may be a fit for the celebration you envision, we can set up a time for you to visit! Rental Amenities ● Access to Century Barn and the immediately surrounding area including the ceremony field, circular

pergola, garden, and lawn space that can be used for tents, tables, yard games, etc. ● Access to the facility for set-up, event, and clean-up during facility hours (see below) ● Working Kitchen with 1 stove, 3 refrigerators, tons of counter space ● Working restroom facilities re-stocked and cleaned by Century Barn staff throughout the day of your

event. (Additional restrooms are required to be brought in for parties over 250 guests) ● Bar area with 3 mini refrigerators ● Storage area in basement ● Use of ladders & extension cords to help decorate & bring electricity where needed (ceremony, tent) ● 2 staff members working during event to help with: parking, trash removal, restocking/cleaning of

restrooms, and overall safety of guests and property (staff have specific duties, if you need specific help, additional staff can be hired through CB, additional staff required for guest counts over 200)

● Golf/Utility cart rides to and from parking, and restroom if needed (for staff use only) ● Hi-Speed Wi-Fi Rental Fee ● The rental fee for the 2019 season (May through October) is $4,500.00 for the weekend. A Holiday

weekend is $5,300.00 ● In order to reserve a date, we require a $2,500 booking fee (plus tax = $2,637.50). This payment will

be applied to the total rental fee ● Off Season events will be an additional $500.00 to the rental fee ● Events with an estimated guest count of more than 200 will require an additional $250.00 to the rental

fee ● Events with an estimated guest count over 300 will require an additional $500.00 to the rental fee ● The total cost is to be paid no less than one month prior to the event. We also require a $500.00

damage and cleaning deposit to be paid no less than one month prior to the event and will be returned provided there is no damage and the cleaning is complete. ~All rentals, services and rental items are subject to applicable taxes

Additional Items as Needed ● $250/each additional hour of access to facility ● **$250/staff, 1 additional staff required for events with guest count over 200, 2 additional staff

required for guest count over 300, can also hire additional staff from CB for additional tasks for event if desired

● 10% administrative charge for event coordination (applicable on extras like catering, not barn rental) ● On site we have round tables (48” and 60”), 8’ banquet tables, white padded folding chairs, heaters,

casual rectangular tables/benches, whiskey barrels, a Smart TV, different lighting features, and other assorted items. Rent from Century Barn and receive a discount on your final invoice. Ask for our rental list!

Capacity The capacity of the barn depends on the style of reception/event. The barn can accommodate approximately 160 people comfortably for a sit down dinner using round tables, ~180 using banquet tables. If you are not planning to serve a sit down dinner inside the barn, a larger number of guests may be accommodated. Given various styles of receptions and willingness to rent a tent, we have been able to accommodate up to 350 people on the property and so capacity greatly depends on what you have planned. ***Additional restrooms and a shuttle/bus service must be used for parties with over 250 guests. Set Up & Clean Up We only book one event per weekend allowing for more flexibility. Rental hours for the weekend include:

● Friday from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM for set up ● Saturday from 8:00 AM – 11:00 PM (contract may be extended, each additional hour is $250.00

and must be determined up until 1 month prior to the event) ● Sunday from 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM for brunch/gift opening, final clean up ● Monday from 8:00 AM until Noon for vendor pick-ups only

*end times listed reflect when property gate will be closed Vendors We do not place any restrictions on choice of caterer, bakeries, florists, etc. We have worked with many vendors and can provide information if you would like to know more about specific vendors. Alcohol Policy We allow you to bring your own alcoholic beverages, but require them to be served by a licensed bartender. Cash transactions are not allowed at any time throughout the event. If you are looking for a little more organization and help with your bar, consider hiring a bar service! Catered Cocktails, LLC can help with anything from deciding on what to stock for your event to setting up & serving your guests! Guest House A great feature! The guest house is located on the same property as Century Barn, but has a separate driveway. The house is located near the Park and Ride area just before the barn entrance. There are 4 rooms made available to rent for the day or overnight to wedding parties; 2 rooms upstairs with a small common space between and 2 rooms off the kitchen/dining area. The living room and kitchen/dining areas are shared spaces with other guests staying at the house. Great natural light & plenty of bathrooms! Considerations: *Our venue hosts a full season of weddings & events May - October, so availability may be a factor. Please inquire with [email protected] for specific dates. *Car parking is limited and a short walk to the venue, shuttle buses are helpful for large events and to ensure that your guests are safe, especially if alcohol will be served at your event. *We can hire additional staff to help with events, inquire for more information. *Restrooms are in the lower level of the barn, staff are also there for rides from main barn door to lower level door if needed *For planning your event, depending on what you want, you may also need to consider linens, plates, silverware, tables & chairs (we have lots of rental items!), how to set things up and where, who will help during the event (making sure things are running on schedule & move chairs if needed), who will help decorate, set-up, clean-up and more.
