Globalization

What’s needed to make a successful globalization plan work properly?

The CEO of a company must champion the cause of Globalization, or the process will fail. This process must have commitment from the top down. Commitment must be shown in staff meetings, resources deployed, penalties for non-compliance and rewards given for meeting goals. The right people must be on the bus to get the job done properly.

Off shoring is a major change to the way most companies work. Change is inherently difficult for people to employ in their daily life. CEO’s are agents of change.

Management needs to be aggressive, flexible and patient at the same time. Globalization needs to be embraced to make it work for your company. Change doesn’t happen overnight. What’s important is the pace and direction of change.
