EQUIPMENT RETURN POLICY

Prior written permission must be obtained fromDENTSPLY by any laboratory or dealer wishing toreturn unused equipment, accessories or parts forcredit, exchange or repairs. Credits will be based onthe original invoice price. On equipment, accessory orpart returns, a handling charge of 25% will also bededucted from the amount of credit issued. Parts thatfail while under warranty may be returned forreplacement only, not for credit.

All repair shipments require an RMA number.Please call DENTSPLY Ceramco Equipmentdivision for RMA number at 800-835-6639.

RETURNS UNDER WARRANTY:MUST INCLUDE A COPY OF THE CUSTOMERSINVOICE. Transportation charges both ways will bepaid by DENTSPLY for equipment or parts returned toYucaipa, California for replacement, repairs oradjustments.

RETURNS OUT-OF-WARRANTY:Transportation charges both ways must be paid by thelaboratory or dealer on equipment or parts whosewarranty period has expired.

Enclose a written description of the malfunction, and/orthe symptoms of the problem. Indicate on thedescription if you would like an estimate of the chargesprior to repair, and provide appropriate contactinformation.

Repair personnel will contact by telephone or fax withan estimate of charges prior to work being performed.If unable to contact by telephone/fax, a writtenestimate will be sent by mail.

If further instructions are not received within 15 days ofestimate, the equipment will be returned at customersexpense. There is a $50 charge for estimates if you donot proceed with repair. The charge is applicable tonew DENTSPLY Ceramco equipment if purchasedwithin 30 days of the original repair estimate. ContactDENTSPLY Ceramco for more information.

Estimates of repairs are based upon preliminaryinvestigation. If detailed diagnostics reveal the needfor additional repair, you will be contacted for moreinformation.

Factory repairs are shipped in new containers withspecial inserts to protect your equipment. Theseshould be saved should the equipment require furthershipment.

Factory repairs have a 6 month warranty on parts.Replacement printed circuit boards areremanufactured items that are tested to a high qualitystandard. The printed circuit boards have a 60 daywarranty.

WARRANTIES are not transferable.

DENTSPLY will continue to stock replacement parts ondiscontinued Ceramco equipment for a five-yearminimum, contingent upon supplier availability. Afterthat time, parts will be made available as long ascustomer demand and supplier availability exist.

RETURNS OF USED CERCON SYSTEMS:DENTSPLY will accept returns of used CerconSystems in accordance with the Cercon Zirconianew/refurbished system purchase agreement.DENTSPLY will not accept returns of used CerconZirconia systems past 90 days from the time of originalshipment to the end user.

Full contour restorations madefrom translucent ingots may be quickly shaded usingone of the many staining porcelains.

CREATIVE CERAMICSThis course discusses the shade-taking process, andthen how to best communicate that information to thelab. Techniques will be taught that then allows theceramist to duplicate that information into a highlyesthetic pfm. The creative use of internal modifiers andsurface textures will be discussed. Marketingtechniques for these products will also be discussed.


THE "KISS" PORCELAIN SYSTEMToday, dental ceramics should be a refined and easyprocess for the lab technician. The ability to quicklyfabricate esthetic restorations is now within the reachof all ceramists. A new porcelain shading system hasbeen designed by DENTSPLY DeguDent called KISS,or Keep It Simple and Safe. This system hasimproved handling of the porcelain components, and isalso a simple system for achieving outstanding shadeswith only a few powders. This presentation will discussthe techniques and processes used to fabricate thoseesthetic restorations.

DENTSPLY Ceramco is expanding its trainingmethods with opportunities for labs and dentists toreceive product training and technique information byway of "Computerized Audio/Video" sessions called"Webinars." This cutting-edge technology providesDENTSPLY with a new and exciting educationalmethod to customize and reduce laboratory expensesfor in-house technical training.

The laboratory (or other attendees) only need an on-line computer with a high-speed connection and aspeaker phone. Options include an LCD projector forviewing in groups. The attendee has full inter-activeparticipation, can ask questions and receive answersdirectly from the presenter. Sessions consist ofpresentations in PowerPoint and other Microsoft Officeprograms PLUS live video demonstrations.

The Finesse All-Ceramic core material is uniquely engineered with acoefficient of thermal expansion matched to the Finesse low-fusing porcelain.An ideal bond is achieved between the porcelain and core without the needto create a wash layer, saving time and enhancing the integrity of therestoration. Best of all, it virtually erases the seam between core andporcelain.

Achieve higher quality restorations without sacrificing productivity. Theceramist can build a full 360 dentin layer with modifiers to control chromaand value. The Finesse porcelain system has been engineered toprovide exceptional shade matching, thermal stability andesthetic properties. A fine-grain formula gives the Finessesystem superior handling, stacking and carving characteristics tomake porcelain build-up easy. Because of its uniquecomposition and low-fusing temperatures, Finesse porcelain is70% kinder to the opposing dentition than conventional high-fusing porcelain systems. Finesse polishes easily so yourdentists can adjust and polish chairside without having to returnthe restoration to the laboratory for reglazing.

Finesse opaques, opaceous dentins, dentins and margins areavailable in 18 shades. The full range of 16 Lumin shades plusthe A0/i1, and B0/i2 shades make shade matching, even tobleached dentition, easy to achieve. A full range of modifiersadds to the versatility of the Finesse system in achievingexcellent shade match and lifelike characterizations.

The entire system, from the opaques through the dentins,opal enamels and surface stains, imparts the fluorescence ofnatural dentition. The opal enamels add a true lifelikeopalescence.
