ICP MC1600 blankets are high temperature, lighweight, needled blankets manufactured from polycrystalline mullite fibre that can ex-posed to temperatures up to 1600 ºC. ICp MC1600 blankets are completely inorganic and so retain their strength, flexibility and thermal properties in many working environ-ments, without the generation of smoke or fu-mes. Available in a range of density and thic-kness combinations, ICP MC1600 blankets can be used in a wide variety of applications. They are especially suited to environments where the presence of “shot” (unfiberised par-ticles) is undesirable or where resistance to corrosive agents is essential.
