All of our products are handcrafted, as each of our lines are designed

from an original idea by gathering of diverse elements: clays, glazes,

production techniques and �ring process wich give each line its own

unique personality.

The individuality of each line is due to this exclusive process and

�ring wich results in its unique character. A handcrafted process as

developed by Ceramica Antique may take a single piece 15 o 20 days

to complete depending on its size, proces and complexity.

In comparation a mass produced factory piece takes from start to

�nish less than one hour, having never been touched by human

hands. Therefore, the di�erence between one and the other is vast

and without under appereciating the quality of the industrialized

product. I t simply lacks the character, variation and originality

among many other attributes that handcrafted product will always

have.

The art of handcrafting uses processes that have been used for

milennia, and techological development will never be able to reach

what is the product of human ingenuity.

TULERIES

The Tuileries Collection offers a fresh take on classic Frech motifs, splendidly reborn in carefully edited deco-

rative patterns, perfectly suited for today’s refined interpretation of traditional style. The collection’s name is

inspired by the Jardin de Tuileries, which is the “central park” of Paris. “Tuile” means tile in French, and this

historic park started its life as a clay quarry and tile workshop in the early 13th century. What could be a more

fitting name for a collection that celebrates the heritage of French handmade tile and design.
