– PVSS: ok for both 3.1 and 3.6 (with FW and OPC, custom and standard panels)– FSM: ok on 3.1, not ported yet on 3.6 – HW: 2 SY1527 delivered, ready to be installed in CR4-Z02 and CR4-Z03, needs of 1-ph power
and ethernet connection, besides HV cables (tested, few connectors missing)• LV
– PVSS: fwCAEN is working correctly with 3.6, worse with 3.1, standard panels– FSM: (see FSM for HV)– HW:
• 4 SY1527 and branch controllers delivered, 2 ready to be installed (racks O03-O32, I03-I32, needs of 1ph power, eth, EASY bus patch)
• 12 Maciste: 1 to 2 ready to be installed in racks O04-O31 (1ph power –svc-, 3-ph power, EASY bus, LV bars)

strictly FED compliant– FSM: not ready – HW: 2 SM installed with FEE devices, lab setup at Cern and in Italy (see Integration);

After last survey at Point 2, we‘re still missing many connectors (rack side). This/next week we’ll hopefully begin to install devices in the racks in UX and CR
Supermodule 08• Starting probably this week, the supermodule will
finally be pushed in its final position• At present, our effort is to set all the connections
and services needed for the SM to be switched on, operated and tested as soon as possible

Final Installation at P2
• Complete SW with PVSS 3.6– A running (but not final) version is going to be installed in
the next days, to test and operate the first SMs – Complete system: not before mid May
• Network, cables and connectors– To be checked early this week
• Devices– Hopefully this week:
• HV PS in CR4• LV PS (SY and Maciste) side O
– PCs: 4/21 linux “farm” pc ready in CR3 (remaining 17 not before May)

• DAQ, DA, ECS validated (Dec ’06-Feb ‘07)• Further integration tests to be performed in the TOF
lab at Cern:– February 28: Test of ECS+DCS (CERN, TOF) – March 19-22: Integration test for all DCS components of
TOF in ECS (TOF) with real HW– April 10-13: Combined test with TRG, DAQ, DCS, ECS, DA
on real HW

Conclusions
• SW: Main PVSS subprojects are beings used in the TOF lab; not in their final version, but almost fully functional– Still missing: alarms, interlocks, Oracle archiving, complex
FEE procedures (ex. Calibration, error recovery actions), FSM-FEE tree
• HW: Most of the hardware has been delivered and the first devices are being installed probably this week to test SM08
• Integration tests have started
