Certificate II in Information, Digital Media and Technology (IDM&T): Statement of Attainment - Technology in the Workplace
150 hours over 1 line
15 • no specific entry requirements, but an interest in IT in the business context would be an asset
• more suited as a Year 11 course
• the full Certificate II in IDM&T or other specialised VET course
• being able to use IT effectively and productively in any role where you may become the IT ‘super user’

and observation checklists • operate the Student Help Desk on campus• work placement in IT Support• no external exam.

How will I be assessed?• complete workplace standard documentation• through theoretical assessment tasks• through observation checklists for on the job tasks or
simulated environment• through quizzes, verbal answers and tests – written or practical• no external exam.
Other• this subject is studied on ONE line• receive a Statement of Attainment upon successful completion
of required units of study• this subject provides credit towards a Certificate III course
delivering the same units
