Religious reasons

Some families are religious. Some religions have rules about food. Some religions also have rules about the way food is made. Jewish and Muslim families will only eat meat if the animal has been killed in a certain way. Before giving food to people, it is a good idea to check if they have any special food needs.Have a look at the table provided. How does this relate to working in a child care setting?

I do not eat meat or fish. I will eat eggs and diary products.

I have a disease that means that I must be careful what I eat. I cannot have many sugary foods.

I do not eat any food that has come from an animal. I only eat food that comes from plants.
